Vanilla and Lilac Heaven

Dean's eyes slid open and he was blinded by the sunlight filtering through the window. As soon as his eyes adjusted, he felt a light pressure on his chest and looked down to see a beautiful sight. His angel's head was resting there, body curled in a fetal position against him. He smiled, kissing the messy black hair adorning his lover, and was greeted by a small and barely audible moan. Castiel's big blue eyes looked up at him, struggling to drag himself out of sleep and into the morning.

"Good morning, angel."

The young hunter smiled and leaned down to kiss him. Nothing was better than waking up to find the person you love the most curled up against you, looking so innocent and happy. Cas smiled, now knowing that the hazels he gazed into were those of Dean Winchester, his hunter. He pushed himself up slowly to now press his lips against the hunter's. Dean groaned and rolled over to stare at the clock.

"What time is it?" Cas yawned and fell back against the pillows.

"Time to start our early morning cuddling."

Castiel smiled and they both leaned in simultaneously this time to kiss. They heard a knock at the door and reluctantly pulled away to glare and wish to kill the older hunter standing not 4 feet away from them.

"What do you two chuckle heads want for breakfast?"

"Wow, Dean smiled, looks like Bobby's cooking breakfast for us. What do you want Cas? Cause I'm perfectly fine just having you as my breakfast."

Dean maneuvered his way on top of Castiel and pushed his lips against his, simultaneously slamming him back farther into the pillows. He could feel his angel's smile.

"Disgusting!" Bobby slammed the door and left them to their early morning love making.

Dean pulled away as soon as the door was closed.

"Good, now that we've gotten rid of him. We have more pressing matters to worry about."

"And what's that, Dean?" Cas curled up against Dean, not wanting to get out of bed and leave his hunter even if the world depended on it.

"Being with you, Castiel. Spending the New Year with you."

"There is no other person I would wish to spend it with."

Dean rested his chin on top of Castiel's head and in turn, Cas pressed his face against Dean's neck, moaning in pleasure.

"I love you, Dean."

The hunter closed his eyes and breathed in Cas's scent, vanilla and lilac heaven.

"I love you too, Castiel."

They lay there for who knows how long. Completely and perfectly happy doing nothing, just resting in each others arms. The perfect start to a New Year than they could ever ask for.
