Just a little something I threw together while I waited for the bus.

He wore a watch. It had a brown leather strap with a silver face and clasp. It hung loosely from his wrist, the wrong way around, and she wondered why he didn't tighten it. But she liked how it looked in contrast; it hung so casually from his wrist against his formal robes – it suited him.

He didn't like sugar in his coffee, but always took two with his tea. He liked to hold cups in his right hand with his pinky elevated just slightly – she wasn't sure if he realised just how haughty that made him look.

The pristine china that Mrs. Weasley served tea in did not suit his look. His scowl withered the delicate shell shaped cup with its tiny pink floral pattern and she thought it a shame he could ruin something so sweet.

Brandy tumblers and fine wine glasses suited him more. His pianist fingers were designed to coil around the thick brandy glass; the tip of his thumb always touched his forefinger. She liked best the way he cradled a wine glass in his palm, his long fingers snaking up the sides and his sturdy knuckles protruding from beneath pale skin.

He was wonderful really, she thought, as she sat opposite him at the kitchen in Grimmauld Place. She admired his keen focus on the papers in front of him; his dark eyes flicked quickly left to right and his lips moved softly every so often.

He wore glasses. They were thin, wire framed glasses that perched on the bridge of his nose. They softened his features enough to make him seem...handsome. She smiled then, looking back to her own papers and just missing his dark eyes glance up at her - they suited him.
