"BEEP ! BEEP ! BEEP ! BEEP! " My alarm clock made it's presence known ...

I groaned , still half asleep , and mumbled " Nobody likes you .. Leave me alone ..." I pulled my fluffy green blanket on top of my head . I probably resembled a cocoon or something .Then I got too annoyed with the beeping so I reached to my side table to stop the annoying beeping then lay there snoozing . I just lay there for a few minutes when I felt something hard and cold collide with my back and my eyes flew open in shock . Before I could understand the situation , I fell from the side of the bed and landed smack dab on my face . I shrieked in pain .

"WHAT THE FUCK !? THAT HURTS !"

" You're distrupting the peace , omnivore .."

I bristled a little and looked at the other side of the bed to see my dear brother holding his tonfas . " Did you just smacked me in the back with those tonfas of yours ?! " I half-yelled at him . My beloved brother just turned and walked out of my room … I just stared at his back until it disappeared around the corner .

This may seem weird but I sometimes talk to myself … Like now … Sooooo … My name is Kairin Hibari . As you can guess … Wait , why did I say "you" ? Aren't I talking to myself ? Oh well I'm already crazy enough . Anyways , my brother is THE Hibari Kyoya . He's just a plain jerk . No need to say more . I'm not as "blood-thirsty" as him but honestly … You wouldn't want to make me angry ~ I'll beat the living daylights out of you . I have the same raven coloured hair except the purple streak on the side . Long story short , I did it just to rebel , Hibari went nuts , the school's court was a little more than slightly damaged , I was lectured by teachers , got weird looks from the pupils , forced to pay for half of the damage, and finally … found out that the dye I used wasn't the one day , washable type but the permanent one till it fades … So yeah I'm stuck with this purple streak till it goes away . My hair is about shoulder length. Instead of squinty steel blue eyes which my brother and father have , I have big icy blue ones . I kind of like them cause when I'm angry they kinda intimidate people easily . Well , if what I heard was right … I think I had inherited them from my deceased mother , but I can't really remember . My body shape is kind of petite and tall . But don't underestimate this body … I could pack a punch when I want to . And I think it's time to stop talking to myself …

I got up slowly , mumbling swear words under my breath , and walked towards my bathroom . I brushed my teeth with my pink toothbrush . Honestly , I do not like pink but I made a mistake "asking" my brother to buy a toothbrush for me and look here … A PINK toothbrush . I got into the shower and stood under the warm water .. After a while ,I wrapped myself in a green towel and got out to wear my uniform . Once I was done , I heard my door open and looked up to see a certain skylark .

" You're going to be late ... Hurry up or I'll bite you to death .. "

Then he left my room without another word . "LEARN TO KNOCK , SKYLARK !" I yelled . A almost inaudible grunt could be heard outside . I hastily got my bag and went out , not before being stopped as the strap of the bag got stuck at the corner of the table . I cursed and half ran downstairs.

" GODDAMN YOU , SKYLARK ! "

I glared at the direction where my brother had left without me .. I guess he really IS a jerk . Damn my blood-thirsty brother who used the only transport . I stood for a few seconds to blow of some steam before sprinting to school .

I was running around a corner when I bumped into someone's back .

" OOPS , Su-sumimasen ! " I blurted out . Both of us fell , one on the bum and one right on the face .I sweat-dropped and stood up to assist the person . " I'm so sorry ! Are you okay ?!"

The person looked up and his face was red in embarrassment . While helping him , I studied him a little . He had large , warm , innocent brown eyes and messy brown hair . He was lanky and noticeably clumsy . " I-it's okay .." He assured , stuttering .. Then , I noticed the familiar uniform .

" Are you … going to Namimori Middle School ? " I asked . He seem a little dazed before snapping out of it and answering .

" U-uh , Yeah …" He stuttered .

"Cool ! I'm studying there too ! Let's walk together !" I grinned . He looked shocked for some reason but a slight smile seeped into his expression .

"Okay !"

" I'm Kairin ! What's your name ? "

I asked . I had purposely left my cursed surname out . Wouldn't want to scare this cute boy away .

"I'm T-tsunayoshi Sawada ..."He answered shyly . I grinned . "We're gonna have to hurry if we wanna get to school in time …"

He glanced at his watch and made a "Hie !" noise . We sprinted , rather he sprinted while I ran a little slower to let him catch up . We managed to reach school just in time so we weren't late or anything .. Unfortunately , a certain skylark was at the school gates ..

" Damn it ..." I muttered in annoyance .. He merely glared at us . I glared back while Tsuna hiied and fled in to the school in fright.. I glared at him for a while more . Then I walked nearer to him and poked him in the cheek . "That's for leaving me behind … AGAIN …"

He glared at me and took out his tonfas . I didn't give him a chance to make a move when I stuck out my tongue at him and ran into the school grounds .

As I walked to my class , I received some looks from majority of the boys and even some daring ones did wolf whistles . I turned and glared my best death glare at them . They bristled in fear quickly.

" Freaking monkeys with hormones ..."

I muttered ..

I entered the class with a neutral look on my face .. Our teacher hasn't arrived yet as per usual . He's ALWAYS late . Not that we mind or anything . So the students were chatting loudly .. I sat in my seat and gazed around the classroom . That's when I noticed a familiar figure with messy hair sitting two seats away on my right . Wow … Was I so oblivious that I didn't notice him all this while ? I got up and made my way to greet him

"Hello , Tsuna-san !

The brunette jumped in fright when I called him then turned to face me ... " Eh ? Kairin-san ! "

I grinned ... The teacher entered the class , flustered and sweating , at that moment so I quickly went back to my seat ..

At lunchbreak , I sat on the rooftop , enjoying my bento immensely ...Being Kyoya's sister does have some benefits as I admit he's a pretty good cook and I managed to learn from him … My eyes wandered around the not so interesting 'scenery ' of my school .. Then , my eyes caught something . There was a group of burly seniors kicking someone .. And that poor someone was Tsuna .

"Oh god that poor guy ..." I quickly ran down .. When I finally reached them , the biggest one , which seems to be the leader was shaking Tsuna so hard that Tsuna's teeth chattered . I casually strolled towards them .. They caught sight of me he stopped shaking Tsuna ..

" Oya .. What's this pretty sparrow doing here ? " He slurred .. I bristled . I hated that nickname , it reminds me of someone to much . And it's not Kyoya . " Let him go .." I told him .

" Looks like someone's to big for their britches … "He growled . The rest of the group chuckled .. Poor Tsuna looked so frightened that he looked like he was about to pass out any moment ..

" Just do me a favour and let that poor guy go .. I really don't wanna go further than talking … " I asked flatly .. He roared with laughter ..

" LIKE HELL I WILL ! "

I sighed and went closer to him . He seemed confused for a moment . When I was close enough , I struck my fist out and it connected to his chin . He stumbled back and let go of Tsuna in shock . " Ow ! Man … That chin is like rock …" I flexed my finger then walked over to Tsuna and asked

" Are you okay, Tsuna-san ? " Tsuna looked embarrassed and nodded . I glanced behind to find the big guy's friend charging at us . I pushed Tsuna out of the way and jumped , landing behind the guy .. He turned and looked at me , surprised and a little frightened ... I jumped up and kicked him in the face with my heel . He stumbled back and knocked out . The rest of them fled for their lives while the biggest one stood there with a furious and annoyed expression on his face .. I smirked at him .. And licked my lips as if I'm enjoying this . He flinched and decided to live another day. I huffed .

"Well that was easy …" Then I turned to Tsuna . " You look pretty bad .." I said when I studied him .. I pulled him up and slung his arm over my shoulder . I helped him walk inside the school ..

"T-thank you , Kairin-san …"

"No problem , Tsuna-kun … Can I use -kun ?"

"… Sure …"
