SUMMARY

Being the most wanted teenager in well, America, I never expected to fall in love. Especially, with a girl like Hazel. We were both broken souls, and I guess we completed each other.

JASON'S P.O.V

I sniggered, slapping the smaller deck and looking at my brother's shocked face. He glared at me and I grinned back. He smiled slightly with the glare, still placed on his eyes. To any other person, we might have looked like two best friends, two brothers having nothing to do but play cards. Really, we were waiting for our guardian, Johnson to come out of committing a real crime. He held a grudge on somebody, and I can honestly tell you, never get on his bad side.

"Boys, time to run."I heard his tired voice and I turned around to see Johnson. I looked over at my brother who held eye contact with him and was confused. I always was, being the youngest. I picked up the deck, got up and got ready to start walking.

"I'm going to do it," Spoke my brave brother. My eyes widened, knowing exactly what it was that he was going to do. I turned around to face him. His face was hard and I froze, knowing he wasn't going to go back on his word. I gulped and made up my mind.

"Then let me help you." I told him, and he smiled a little and shrugged. I smirked, knowing he didn't have a choice; he couldn't set up a bomb even if he tried. He pulled something light blue out of his pocket; rubber gloves.

"Use these. It will make it harder for the cops to find you." He said, throwing them over to me. I caught them easily. "Here, this is to get you a good gun, just in case." He said, and took out a few bills and walked over to me, and handed them to me. I gulped, then nodded.

A few hours later, I had accomplished my goal, and given it to my brother. He smiled proudly and ruffled my hair. To which I frowned and re-arranged it. He walked away and I felt my stomach turn, like something really bad was going to happen. I ignored it completely and went back into my little room. Before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.

"JASON!" I was startled awake by my brother's voice. I sat up quickly and looked around, until I found him. I glared at him for waking me up and frowned when he didn't smile. His face had grown upset. My eyes widened at this recognition. He got caught. He dragged me into a van, and I got in it, not even wondering when that got there.

About an hour later, the van stopped and I got out. They threw me a cell phone, and I caught it, then looked at them; confused.

"We're sorry, but this is the only way we can assure you're safe." Said Johnson. They drove away and I watched them, feeling weak as tears welled up in my eyes. I held them back and entered the place.
