Post Summer Festival
Luca awoke, her body embraced in strong arms. She looked down at the hands that were rested on her stomach, the pale skin of the Sidhe a stark contrast to her own. Luca closed her eyes again and listened to the breathing of her companion, felt the warmth of her body against her back.
They hadn't bothered to return to the summer festival favouring, instead, the orchard behind the Rossignol house. They had sat under the trees listening to the music from the festival carried by the wind. When it had grown too cold the pair had retreated to Luca's room and talked almost through the night eventually falling asleep together on Luca's bed.
The Betheanian couldn't remember a time she had felt more content than she was at that moment. Luca started to turn her body to face Fae doing so carefully as to not wake the Sidhe. She need not have bothered however as when she turned over she was met by bright green eyes. The pair smiled at one another and Fae tightened her embrace as Luca rested a hand on her cheek. They stayed like that for a few moments before Fae leaned in and kissed Lucas's lips. Luca let out a contented hum.
"What time do you think it is?" She asked.
"About midday." Fae replied
"I suppose we had better get up." Luca huffed. She was reluctant to leave the warmth of the bed and the woman beside her but if she didn't get up soon her mother would be banging on the door reminding her nothing good ever came from lying in bed all day: although that may be different now she was no longer alone in her bed. Slowly the pair untangled their limbs and left the comfortable sheets.
Both women were still in the clothes they wore to the festival so Luca decided to get changed before heading to the kitchen for something to eat. She had started to unlace her corset when she remembered her audience. She looked up to Fae, feelingblood rush to her face. Luca had been getting dressed and undressed in front of the Cat Sidhe since she had been invited to stay at the Rossignol house, as had Fae, but it was a little different after last night.
"I can turn around if that helps?" Fae offered noticing the blush in Luca's cheeks.
"No, no it's okay Luca assured. She reached behind her but found her hands had started to shake slightly and she fumbled helplessly with the lacing. "Fae," Luca said, her voice very small, "could you help me with this?" Fae gave a small smile and crossed the room to the now uncharacteristically shy woman. She moved round to stand behind Luca and started to unlace the corset, careful not to pull too hard. When the corset had been loosened enough Fae let it slide down Luca's hips to the floor. Luca expected the Sidhe to move away then and get changed herself but instead she felt a warm hand brush the nape of her neck quickly replaced by Fae's soft lips. Luca leaned into the caress and let a small moan leave her mouth.
A sudden noise to the side made both Fae and Luca whip their heads around. Rufus was leaning against the doorway to Luca's bedroom, arms folded and a wide smirk plastered on his face.
"Morning cousin, Fae." He greeted, still smiling.
"Out!" Luca demanded . Rufus raised his hands in mock innocence but the smiled still didn't quite leave his face. "OUT!" Luca said again , louder this time and walking towards the door she slammed it in the Magi's face.
