Hello Fan fiction thanks for opening my story. I don't think I own Gravity falls but I forget stuff so you know maybe.

Working at Meat Cute had never had many perks until the day Melody met Soos. She first noticed him when he walked into the mall with a boy and a girl. The reason she noticed them was because the girl was wielding a megaphone and screaming at people. Melody didn't think much of it because all kinds of freaks and weird people walked into the mall. So she just went back to working in the kiosk.

She had started to forget about them when to women walked up to the kiosk. "Yep. And then the little girl runs into the restroom and starts screaming about the 'most eligible bachelor' in Gravity Falls."

"Well was he at least good-looking?"

"Nope. That was the worst part. He was fat AND ugly. He's the guy that works up at that tourist trap on Gopher."

The two women laughed and left the kiosk. Melody genuinely felt bad for the guy they were talking about. That was what she hated the most about being and adult. There were always expectations and constant ridicule. They should just give the dude a break and try it out. Sure being desperate enough to send a little girl out to look for companionship wasn't exactly an endearing quality, but hey whatever works. Melody didn't exactly have a stellar track record in dating. But she had never thought to use children. She would definitely keep that one in mind for next time.

Melody saw Soos again the next day in the children play area. He was riding a small train meant for children. Oddly enough she felt drawn to his childish aura. He had just completed his first run on the train and he came to a stop. She couldn't help but giggle at his obvious disappointment. "Dude that's awesome that you are a grown man riding a little train like that. You are totally like owning it."

"Huh? Oh yeah. I'm like if it's fun do it?" he said.

"Exactly! Being an adult is the worst. I have to skewer meat and remember to pay bills I just want to ride tiny trains all day." Melody replied

They started to bond over their love of lunch meats and animatronic animals. Soon they set up a date to go to Who-Haw Owl's. After Melody left she noticed the boy and girl tackle him and push him to the ground. They started to compliment him on getting a date without realizing she was a few feet away. She couldn't pay attention to that because she had to get home. She had a date tonight at a restaurant meant for children 3-10 but it was a date nonetheless.

When Melody got to the restaurant she saw Soos in the booth wearing a vest and bow tie. Everything was going well until the floor show started. Soos ran away from the table to go to the bathroom and then he started talking about the forest. This pink-haired anime girl set my hair on fire and started zapping everything. Soos left me in the care of two like, nine year olds named Dipper and Mabel. The owl girl started threatening Soos and trying to download him into the game. He almost got downloaded into the game until he put the game into the pizza oven and she fizzed into nothing.

To be honest she had gone on worst dates than the one that Soos took her on. Soos was a pretty odd guy but she was a pretty odd girl. Sure Portland was far away from Gravity Falls but they would find a way to make it work. They had figured out a way to defeat an evil anime chick they could figure out a long-distance relationship.
