AN: Hey guys, it's me again! I know, I know, I'm horrible about updating my SasuNaru fic, but I totally haven't been in the mood for it. I've been feeling pretty depressed. I started this fic at 12:30 in the morning, and I just now finished it after my friends left. I hope you guys like it.
By the way, this is kiiiiinda ItaSasu, but it's really really fluffy, so it's kinda just bond-y stuff.

Disclaimer: I obviously own nothing.

Sasuke sat at the door, staring at it as he thought as deeply as an 8-year old could. He was waiting for his precious brother to return from a mission he was supposed to have finished two days ago.

"Sasuke, you should really go to bed now dear," his mother called as she headed into the hall from the kitchen. "No, I'm fine kaa-san. I'm wating for Itachi-nii!" he replied stubbornly, his cheeks puffing up as he crossed his arms and pouted.

"I'm sure he'll be back in the morning sweetie. Go to sleep for now, I'll tell him to go see you when he comes home, alright?"

Sasuke thought about this for a moment. 'Aniki'll probably just go straight to sleep instead…he doesn't seem to really care about me anymore…' he thought sadly.

"Okay, I guess…" Sasuke mumbled, sighing. Mikoto smiled softly, kissing his cheek. "Good night Sasuke. I'll see you in the morning then," she said, hugging her child before going back into the kitchen.

Sasuke trudged upstairs with his little heart feeling heavy. He went through his bedtime routine and got into bed, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't sleep in his ice-cold bedroom.

Sliding to the ground, he tiptoed into his older brother's room. The bed, despite not being used for at least a week, was warm and smelled of Itachi. With a slight sigh, he curled up under the covers and quickly fell asleep.

Itachi came in quietly through the front door, taking off his shoes. "Welcome home Itachi." Mikoto welcomed her son with a hug, smiling.

"I'm home. Sorry I'm late, we had to take a detour," he explained as he hugged her back. "That's alright Itachi," she replied, "but Sasuke's been up til midnight every night waiting. You should spend some time with him for the next few days."

Her eldest nodded, kissing her cheek and going up to his bedroom. He wasn't surprised to find his little brother curled up in his sheets and hugging his pillow tightly. Chuckling, Itachi took a shower and got into his pajamas, slipping under the covers.

Sasuke stirred slightly, cracking an eye open slightly. "Aniki?" he mumbled sleepily, letting go of the pillow.

"Go back to sleep otouto." The smaller raven nodded, resting his head on his chest. Itachi took the pillow and rested his head on it, pulling Sasuke closer.

"Good night aniki…" He smiled warmly. "Good night Sasuke." It didn't take long for the child to fall asleep, his brother following soon after.

Sasuke stared at the small photo in his hands. It had been five years since he had slept beside his big brother. No matter how much he hated Itachi, he couldn't help that he missed the warmth and security he felt when sleeping with the older raven.

He sometimes even went into Itachi's old room and sat on his bed. The warmth was gone, as was Itachi's scent, but the memories helped a little.

Sasuke wished that the massacre was a dream, a nightmare that he would wake up from someday. It didn't seem like that was possible though, at the rate things were going.

With a sigh, the teen put the framed picture down on his desk and moved to Itachi's room. He curled up under the covers, drifting to sleep with tears pricking the corners of his eyes.

"Good night Sasuke."
