Life
"Leo, can you help your sister with her breakfast, please?" Tony DiNozzo asked from the kitchen on a warm, wintery Saturday morning. It was 9AM and breakfast time in the DiNozzo-Gibbs household was always a quiet, calm one.
Tony and Gibbs' seven-year-old son Leroy Timothy nodded with a big, bright smile and hopped down from his chair at the table and walked over to the chair sitting next to his little sister's high chair. Leo had all the features of Gibbs with all of the personality of Tony. He was a bundle of cute and sometimes trouble in one.
"Here, Katie," Leo picked up the baby spoon from the little plastic pink bowl and held it out to his one-year-old sister Caitlin Shannon Jennifer Gibbs. When Katie was born, neither Tony or Gibbs could decide on a middle name, so they combined the names of the women who each meant something special to them. Katie looked just like Tony, but had Gibbs' legendary bright blue eyes.
Tony smiled watching his kids and thought about how much he and Gibbs loved them. From the moment they were born, Gibbs had turned into a new person. A father. Something Tony had always wanted to see from his lover.
"DADDY!" Katie squealed happily when Gibbs came downstairs. Leo turned his head and grinned, waving.
"Hey princess," Gibbs smiled going over to his daughter and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Katie giggled and started playing with her Cheerios.
Leo raised his arms up for a hug from his father and Gibbs picked him up giving him and soft loving hug. "How's my boy doing?"
"Good," Leo grinned hugging Gibbs' neck. "Helping Katie with breakfast."
"Good boy," Gibbs kissed Leo's head and set him back down on the chair. "Where's Dad?"
Leo pointed to the kitchen and Gibbs softly messed his hair. "Thanks, bud." He headed into the kitchen, going up behind Tony and wrapping his arms around his waist. "Morning, Tony."
"Morning, J," Tony smiled tilting his head back and received a kiss from his boss.
Life was good for Tony and Gibbs. They had two beautiful kids, were planning to get married, and couldn't want anything more. Life for them was damn near perfect.
