(Life After War)
Duo Chapter 1
Duo was still trying to sleep. On Xmas ac196 he had returned from defeating Marimeia Barton/Kush Rinada. He could not sleep for many reason's. For one thing the drumming of Hilde's fingers on the keyboard was aggitating him but he could never be seriously mad at Hilde for he was desperatley in love with her. He had had the ring in the pocket of his favorite pair of jeans now for almost a year still contemplating what to say to her. He already knew that Hilde loved him she had told him many a time but Duo, someone most people would not call shy WAS shy, at least when it came to Hilde. Also he had not yet disposed of his Gundam which was the only thing that had ever made him different. Once he detenated his Gundam he could finally live a peacful and normal life. 'This is it,' He thought getting out of bed and putting on some clothes. 'I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna ask Hilde to marry me.' He held up his shoulders and walked into Hilde's room. Her hair and eyes looked even more beautiful in the computers dim light. Duo walked over to her and stood behind her in the shadows. "So uhh... How ya been? Did ya miss me?" Duo asked with a nervous glance at the door. Hilde did not look up but smiled a wide and devious smile. She finished typing and turned around to look Duo in the eyes.
"What would you like to ask of me?" She asked her smile growing wider.
"Ummm well you know I love you alot and ya know ummm. willyoumarryme?" He asked in a jumble of letter's.
"What do YOU think? I am pregnant after all," Hilde said smiling wider than ever. Duo felt as if he might fall over. PREGNANT? Why hadn't she told him sooner.
"Good so we're getting married." Said Duo heavily relieved. He went in to bed and fell asleep as soon as he laid down.
