I'll Go Insane With You

Author's Note: This came to me in a dream. The OC is mine.
He slid up to the bars next to the Princess's cell. "Psst. Azula. Come here."
She looked around wildly for the voice. "Who's there? I don't have anything!" She shrieked, clutching her garments to her chest. Her eyes wildly scanned the room for any sign of danger or harm.
"Azula, it's me Noir. Do you remember me?" He replied calmly.
"Noir!" She whispered happily, recognition alight in every feature. She slid up next to him on the other side of the bars. "A voice was talking to me earlier." She said with all the seriousness in the world.
"That was me." He said, nodding.
"Good! I thought that it might have been that Water Tribe peasant." She said with disgust. "I saw Ty Lee the other day. Did you know that? She was wearing the prettiest outfit! It was all green with white face paint and red lips and black eyeliner! She looked just like a princess. When I introduced you two, she said she didn't see you. I was afraid that she was going insane too. But I'm glad you're still here because it would get lonely without you. Did you hear what..." She rambled excitedly as Noir listened on contentedly, leaning against the wall with his hands folded over his stomach.
The guard stationed outside her room looked in and saw no-one there besides Azula. He shook his head sadly, wondering what pushed her over the brink.
Author's Note: I thought this was incredibly sad. She was talking to a figment of her imagination. Noir looks like Haru when he was on the rig except he just has a grey tunic on, not brown. He also has Fire Nation features, not Earth Kingdom ones. And just for added help on tunic styles and how the guards differentiate the people in the asylum: Guys=Grey, Girls=White. Review please!
