A/N:
Hello. Thanks for picking our story.
Whew. It's the first time we actually wrote a SE fanfic. *claps*
(since we always write Shugo Chara fanfics.)
[R.K- Ah. Sure. *sweatdrops*]
Anyway, Enjoy. Seriously. XD.
[Have fun reading.]
Resonating: The Easiest Way To Invade One's Privacy
A Soul Eater One-shot
It all happened so freakishly fast.
He was there. Standing on his usual "cool" style.
Of course, we finally defeated the witch.
And he was ready to take her soul.
But his eyes thirsted for something more.
And before I knew it, our lips made contact.
And that's when I felt it.
"Can I ask a question?" I murmured, swaying my dark blonde hair to the side. We were apparently going back home, to contact Shinigami-sama and tell him that we collected the 100th soul.
"Mmm. Depends on the question." He answered, still not looking at my gaze.
"Uhm. Why did you help me back there? I mean, I could've kicked that witch's ass you know." I murmured. He rolled his eyes.
"You do know the fact that I'm your weapon, you're my meister. A weapon protects it's wielder; If it doesn't, it has no use."
"Oh." I answered lowly. "Can I ask another question then?"
"Sure." He sighed.
"Why did you…"
"Why did I what?" He asked impatiently.
"Why did you kiss me then?" I blurted out, looking at his reaction.
"Idiot. That wasn't a kiss!!" He paused, trying to get the right words. "That was a type of soul resonance." He mumbled, his face turning beet red.
"Are you even telling the truth?" I raised my eyebrows.
"I learned it from Professor Stein you know." He muttered.
"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes again. "Are you sure?"
"Y—yeah!" He mumbled loudly.
"O-kay then." I said playfully, a smile forming on my lips. "Can we resonate right now?"
"Eh? What do you mean--.." He was about to say, but he was cut off immediately by my lips.
His eyes widened and he blushed. I grinned.
"That's the oldest excuse in the book, Soul." I rolled my eyes. "I love you too, stupid Soul Eater Evans." I stuck my tongue out before running towards the dorm, but still hearing him shout to me
"And this is why I hate being resonated. You feel everything that I feel. Can't a man ever have his own privacy?!" He interjected, trying to get rid of his blush. I grinned.
"Hmm. That kid must have already discovered another way to resonate. That's the easiest way to resonate though. I should've told them sooner." A man with gray hair , round glasses and a big screw implanted on his head said.
"Well at least they finally know their own feelings for each other." He sighed, forming a smile. "Kids." He rolled his eyes.
=FIN=
A/N: That was the shortest story we made so far. *claps*
[Stop the clapping, it's too loud.]
Hope You Enjoyed! :)
