Another work done in a state of dawn-trance and attempt to get my mind off stressful matters
Enjoy! =)

IT'S A MYSTERY
People ask them why they don't get along so well
…
…
"You know what? You should learn some new things every now and then."
The words were practically a sting in the ears, especially if directed to the ears of a capable and intellectually upright person. Not that he would do anything against it.
A tongue clicked; a grunt was heard.
And so, they start their bickering once more.
XOOOOX
People ask them why they don't get along so well.
For her, when being asked, she just stares…stares…and then laughs.
For him, when being asked, he just glares…glares…and then be snob.
But when they meet, it was already a guarantee of another one of their little verbal bout: at least on the side of the verbally inclined one. The other was more likely to walk away – that is, with a woman following and barking around like a newly bought puppy.
Truth to be told, nobody had dared to ask that persistently. Either people were too lazy to ask (Like the Deer genius same year as them); others don't care one way or the other. Those or some had the prospect of feeling a little bit intrusive to a realm they were clearly not meant to be in.
Another question now was: what exactly is that mysterious realm?
XOOOOX
A loud, boisterous and kinesthetic blonde actually succeeded to cross the line, though he wasn't that lucky to have the "golden answer" people were darn anxious to know.
Actually, the only thing he got was something nobody wanted to have.
That time, he had practically gone over to the woman's side to start a friendly conversation, as he had always before. A laugh here, insight there, questions here, answers there. (But not yet to the issue, mind you.)
Up to this day, nobody could figure out how the blonde got so ecstatic as to actually corner the girl onto the locker, while he was trying to extract the mystery from her.
Actually, it was a misunderstanding. The girl was standing in front of the locker getting her stuff while the boy leaned down next to her – his hand on the locker.
The next day, a generously blackened bruise was found on the eye socket of the poor blonde.
Nobody dared to enter that realm anymore.

Yesterday:
Furious eyes stared down at unrepentant jades– a thick blanket of silence surrounding them.
"What?"
"What did he do?"
A frustrated sigh. "Nothing."
A snort. "Nothing?"
A glare. "Nothing."
Silence
Another frustrated sigh. "Hey. Is it now forbidden for me to talk to opposite gender? You males should know your limits."
"You females should know your limits too." came his cold answer.
Silence
Her hazel eyes changed from challenging to sly. "You were jealous weren't you?"
When no reply came other than a sharp glare, her pink lips broke out into a smile.
Laughing she took his hand and led him out of the locker room, to which he complied without resistance.
When she looked back at him, his dark eyes were gentler in hue and forehead not anymore creased with fury.
She shook his head in amusement. "Worry wart."
He tightened his hand on hers. "Careless."
XOOOOX
Call them mysterious, or even strange.
But if bickering like children is their personal way of caring for each other, then do not expect them to get along
XD
Is this situation true in couples? Just asking.
