AN: Another fic for my love of NightWorld.

The sun had yet to rise but it was very close. Hannah Snow had been wakened almost violently from a nightmare. It had been so real. The heat of the flames, the searing pain in her scalp from the clawed hand grabbing her hair to jerk her, the screams and yells of friends trying to help her, and then there was the bitter taste of Thierry's terror she could feel in her entire body. She felt, smelled, heard, and tasted it all right before she died.

The last she remembered from her nightmare, as her life was leaving her, was looking at Thierry as he was holding her. He was almost hysterical, as hysterical as it was possible for him to be. He was pleading with her to fight back the impending darkness overwhelming her as her soul slowly drifted from her. She couldn't hear him clearly because of the noise of battle. But she could read his lips before she was gone. He kept saying the same thing over and over again.

"I love you. I will find you."

Over and over again.

She was going to hold that in her heart until it happened and then she was, out of pure stubborness, to keep it as her first wakened memory for her new life. She knew what the nightmare was. It was a premonition and it was going to happen whether they wanted it to or not. The tears flowed then. It would happen soon. She had just been reunited with him, her Thierry, and she was already being ripped away from him by death.

Why? Why? Why?! Why was this going to happen? Why would he have to endure this again? Why would he have to have his heartbreakingly sad eyes return? Why did she have to know that those sad eyes would return? It hurt so much to think about. So much to know. Knowing those eyes would return hurt more than knowing death was coming for her once again.

"Oh, Thierry." her whisper was almost inaudible.

But it was heard just the same as if she had shouted it. She could feel the bed shift beside her and strong arms envelope her from behind. Quickly and harshly she wiped the tears from her face, knowing that it wouldn't do any good at all. Slowly she turned to face him. And the tears sprang back when she looked at Thierry's eyes.

They were there. The eternal, heartbroken, sadness was there. He knew! He must have seen her dream as she slept, they must have touched. A broken sob escaped her throat as she broke down. Thierry's arms tightened around her and he held her to him, almost like he wanted to absorb her.

"My Hannah. I love you and I WILL find you." he said softly.

Her crying didn't stop. She knew that he would though. He always did and this next time she was going to help him find her. No matter what she had to do, no matter what precautions or spells she had to use, she was going to make sure she remembered her Thierry when she was no longer Hannah Snow.

AN: AHHHHH! This is horrible I know. But it is something that I had to write.
