Little Blue Bomber
A Parody of Little Red Riding Hood
By Marisa Mockery

Little Blue Bomber lived the woods
With his father, dog, and sister
Who one day sent him out with medicine
To heal a sick friend's blister.

So Little Blue Bomber walked down the path
Though the forest and the grass
When suddenly a purple wolf appeared
Who looked evil, violent and crass.

"Hello," said the wolf, sounding polite, "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to Elsa's house to help her get well."
"Ah, is she far?" asked the wolf, soft and sweet. "Is it a long journey?"
"No, she's quite near, but I'm in no hurry, so I'm going to stay a spell."

The wolf said good-bye, and walked down the path,
And the boy started playing around.
However, the wolf wasn't going to leave Elsa alone
So he raced down the path, straight to her grounds!

When he knocked loudly on the door
A soft voice cried, "Who's there?"
"Little Blue Bomber," the wolf replied,
"And I've medicine to share!"

Elsa smiled and opened the door
And saw the evil wolf standing there!
She gave a short scream, but he was too quick
And ate her without a care.

"Now to get that Blue Bomber," the wolf growled,
"I'll need to think of a ruse."
Then he saw the woman's clothes and grinned,
And put on the remaining clues.

When Little Blue Bomber finally came,
He softly knocked on the door.
"Who's there?" asked the villain softly,
"Is it you, lad? Come in, come in--I'm really rather bored!"

The boy entered the cottage,
And his eyes grew wide.
"Elsa, your ears have grown!"
"They're hearing aides," the wolf calmly replied.

"And what large eyes you have!"
"Ah...they're enhancements too."
"And what about those teeth of yours?"
"They're there to munch on YOU!"

So saying, the wolf leapt off the bed
Grinning with devilish glee
But Little Blue Bomber was brave and strong
And he refused to flee.

Instead, Blue Bomber turned his arm into a blaster
(The reason for his name)
And calmly shot the wolf
Ending the monster's reign.
