"But...what about Lloyd?"

Garmadon was truly worried. Last he'd seen him, he was fighting off the mechdragon, but was captured. And then the Overlord proceeded to push Garmadon off into the water. 'Stay strong, son. I will find you. I will find you,' he remembered himself saying upon his resurface. He was on the verge of crying, and he closed his eyes to attempt to keep his tears at bay. It hurt. So much.

What if he- H-He couldn't have died... I won't be able to live without him... I...should've tried harder, Lloyd...

He was stuck in a moment of utter despair and disbelief - until the call came in.

"Lloyd, do you read me?" Pixal announced.

After awhile, Lloyd's voice came in through the intercom. Garmadon was clearly overjoyed. They soon arranged to pick him up on the island he was at.

"That's him!" Kai cried out upon seeing Lloyd sitting atop a rock on the beach.

The Ultra Dragon had flown across the Endless Sea. Then it landed. Garmadon dismounted immediately. He was overjoyed and relieved to see his son.

"Lloyd!" he cried. He ran forward to embrace him close.

The energy elemental ran forward as well. He started to cry into his father's arms. "Dad! I've missed you...!"

"So have I... I'm right here. It's gonna be okay... You're gonna be fine..." Garmadon reassured.

He was speechless after that. As much as it had hurt to think that his son had died, it felt even better to know that they were finally together once again. The father pulled away, brushing Lloyd's bangs aside. The two of them could finally be at peace.

But not really.
