Photo Album

The world of fantasy is very inviting but one must maintain a balance between the world of reality and imagination.

HE walked too far in his memories seeing the old photos but even if he doesn't want, he has to return to present. When HE came back to present, his whole world was messed up. Actually, it was some different situation.

Photo 1

This is Tarika.

Isn't she beautiful?

She is the only daughter of her parents.

She is perfect.

Photo 2

This is Tarika's house.

Quite big enough … in fact, it's a mansion of brick and stones.

It's master piece.

It got four garadges for parking cars, a big veranda, gardens with a number of flowers and much more.

It's perfect.

Photo 3

This is me.

My face is not bad but I never digest this fact.

You see I am quite bigger than Tarika.

She is sixteen.

I am twenty one.

Photo 4

This is my house.

It's not big.

It's situated alongside of railway track.

Its ceiling leaks.

I live here alone … but not from a long time.

Photo 5

This is my mom … actually, she was.

She was beautiful, just like Tarika.

Maybe she was even more beautiful than her.

She is twenty two in this picture.

I was born at that time.

Yes, this is me in her lap.

Photo 6

This is Tarika holding atrophy.

She won it in a declamation contest.

His daddy gifted her cell phone for winning.

Photo 7

This is me; I am also holding a cup.

I got first position in my class.

My mother had nothing to give me but LOVE.

Photo 8

Here Tarika is having dinner with her parents.

This is a fancy and luxurious restaurant in the middle of city.

Tarika and her daddy are arguing.

I find my way clear.

Photo 9

This is the same evening as the last photo.

This is Tarika's dad.

He is me for clicking this photo.

He called me 'brat'.

My way was even clearer.

Photo 10

This is also Tarika's dad.

This photo is not taken by me.

I found this in my mom's belongings.

There is something written on its back.

It proves that he knew my mom.

Photo 11

It's again my mom's picture.

Yes, it is her.

She is beautiful till now, although cancer has taken her half life.

She died in this house.

Photo 12

It's again Tarika's daddy.

I took this photo from a distance.

He has grown old.

Tarika is along him.

You see he love Tarika much.

Photo 13

She is Tarika, coming out through her window.

She thought I called her for a … date.

Photo 14

This is Tarika.

Yes, she is lying in a coffin.

She is dead.

Alas! She was her parents' only sunshine.

Maybe now he will understand how it feels.

To live without someone who is near and dear.

It's painful!

Photo 15

This is Tarika's daddy.

I took this picture on Tarika's burial. Actually, I had pointed Tarika's dead body. Oh! I forgot to mention, Tarika was an officer in Crime Investigation Department.

Her daddy is crying.

He refused to help my mother when she was ill.

I am in quite intricacy that he will recognize me when I'll send him this photo album.

Mummy always used to say, "Daya, your eyes resemble your father…."
