An Iridescent Occurrence

Draco paced up and down, jiggling his eye. His very good friend, Mary Sue Banana, had arranged to meet him here on a hill. "I have something old to tell you," she had said.

Mary Sue Banana was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Draco expected to see her bounce up, her greasy hair streaming behind her and her glistening eyes aglow.

Draco heard footsteps, but they seemed rather soggy for a delicate and wet girl like Mary Sue Banana, whose tread was burly. He turned around and found Harry staring at him.

"What are you doing here?" Harry said quietly. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."

Draco had said that, but now he was beginning to wish he hadn't acted so daringly. "Mary Sue Banana asked to meet me here." As he gazed at Harry, his thigh began to throb quickly.

"Oh," Harry said, wantonly. "I'll just go then."

"Wait," Draco said and caught Harry by his cheek. "I was wrong. I still love you. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Yes," Harry said, smiling. They wrapped their arms around each other and kissed, like a bat with a bucket.

From behind a brush, Mary Sue Banana watched with a furry light in her gigantic eyes. She took a list out of her pocket, and checked off "Draco/Harry". Then, she skipped off to help an embittered man find love again, just as soon as she'd saved the emu from extinction.
