Just another girl – I know I know I said no more new ones but I'm going on vacation , and its going to pour the whole time so since I'm going with someone who will " P" block me the whole time I'll have to put my imagination to work here. This will be very short and hopefully I'll work on it tomorrow.

Summary – Vanessa can no longer work as a field agent for Special Forces think something like "Blackthorn" from the Bourne movies. She gets sent to Hawaii and against her wishes gets tossed in with Five-O. She goes from being a one man/woman show to having to learn how to work as a team. Steve-ish but nicer. She also likes her alone time which bothers the team.
"No, no I'm not…. It's out of the question "she stated.
"Come on please" a woman begged her.
"No Christine. I do not want to be transferred to some island just because the Governor requested I go. How does he know about me anyway?" Vanessa asked as she rustled through a few files on her desk.
" look Van, you can't do field work anymore any way and its not just a island its Honolulu , who doesn't want to go to Honolulu?" Christine asked her sitting on the edge of her desk.
"Me! That is who , look I'm 35 years old and I can't just move plus there are others to consider . My family, my niece. Rick's family, Dodger." Vanessa looked at the photo on her desk of her husband and her dog.
" Look , I'll put a request in for a month but you won't have much of a choice after that , you will either have to go or possibly lose your job and I really don't want to see that happen ,especially with ….. What you will be going through" Christine offered and then gave her a small smile.
"What did I say about those looks?" Vanessa told her boss and friend." Look I will think about it tonight and give you answer tomorrow morning but right now I have to go to the hospital and meet with the doctor about Rick "
Christine could only nod for a moment then she got up and walked over to the woman and gave he a hug . " Honey I am so sorry and no one should ever have to do what you have to deal with ." Christine left the office wiped a tear away. They maybe special ops agents but she was a woman first and forth most.
