He defeated the Dragon level threat Boros. How can I ever match his strength? He's thousands of times stronger than I am despite the fact I am metal and screws and he is flesh and bone. He is just so ….
"Genos."
"Yes, sensei?"
"Stop brooding."
"Sorry, sensei. It is hard not when I am so weak under such a strong Master."
"Genos, we could spar again, though I still refuse to incapacitate you."
"Thank you, Sensei."
"Not today, Genos.", replied Saitama, "It is late and you could stand to grow stronger."
"Of course Sensei, shall I make dinner?"
"Thank you, Genos."
Soon after dinner had been eaten the pair was asleep. Since the defeat of Boros monster sightings had become much more rare, so Genos and Saitama had settled into a routine of waking up, breakfast, training, lunch, Genos cleaning and begging for more training with Saitama ignoring Genos for his sake and the sake of his furniture, Dinner and finally sleeping. The monotonous routine only being occasionally broken up by a monster attack or a visit by King or a visit to Silver Fang's dojo.
"Sensei, are you alright? You seem worried." Genos asked
"You've noticed the lack of monsters, haven't you?"
"Yes, why?"
"I think it's simply the calm before the storm."
"With you, Sensei.", Genos said proudly, "The Heroes Association can weather any storm, and i'll hopefully be able to help when I become strong as you did."
"No Genos, you will become strong your own way. Just follow your heart."
