She watched as his finger moved to button up his shirt. She had never seen him wearing different clothes than the ones he used for his FBI work and, boy, he looked good in that LAPD uniform. She watched his fingers move very slowly, even though she knew it was just her imagination and that his fingers were actually moving at a normal pace.

She watched him walk out of the conference room with the other officers. He looked like he really belonged, even with the glare, the whine and the look one of the officers gave him. That one guy clearly didn't like the man she was staring at.

She watched him walk into the interrogation room with the others. She knew that on the other side of the mirror there was the victim of the rape case the team was working on. She hoped the girl wouldn't pick the handsome man. She clearly didn't want him to be a suspect.

Suddenly, her vision went kind of blurry as she imagined herself being the one on the other side of the mirror. She didn't want to be the victim, of course. She just wanted to be the girl on the other side, watching him standing still, eyes to the front, looking really good with the dark blue uniform, and her mind began to wonder…

"What are you staring at?" Agent Johnson suddenly asked, startling her out of her mid-day dream. She even jumped at his voice.

"Nothing," she quickly replied. She hastily gathered up some files from her desk and walked away from it, away from the 'offending' agent because she was so embarrassed that he had caught her.

But not without taking one last glance at the interrogation room Special Agent Colby Granger had just walked out of.
