You guys wanted it, here it is! The next little drabble in the Rain series thing. It's very short, but you know what they say about little packages. There is probably only going to be one more story, I think. Enjoy, and please remember to review!

Dedicated to Crickett, who asked so nicely and provided the whole inspiration. Thanks, Bunny!

It was raining again.

Cameron snuggled into her husband as the rain threatened to drown all of New Jersey. She was almost hypnotized, and having him caress her arm over and over didn't help.

He turned his head and studied her. "You want to go out and play in it?" he teased.

She laughed. "No, not particularly."

"Why not?" He gently poked her belly.

"You know why." She sat up a little in the bed, but didn't get much further. Her swollen, ready to pop belly prevented it.

He laughed and pulled her back against him, his hand resuming its path along her arm.

The baby kicked at him as his hand pressed lightly over her abdomen, and House laughed.

"Maybe he is like you. He seems to like the rain, too."

She snickered, resting her head on his chest. "I'd be happy if he does."

"Who knows? Maybe he's just like me and he's complaining about the rain."

"You complain about everything, House."

He looked at the ceiling and smiled lazily.

Not everything.

The End
