The battlefield around Jack raged with war, bodies of grunts were everywhere and even though they weren't in his faction he felt sorrow for them. But there was no time to stay that way he had a battle to win, his focus turned back to the enemy in front of him. The last IMC pilot was in front of him, the pilot was in his legion titan standing there waiting for Jack to come at him. But neither pilot dared step toward each other bot knowing full well that the first one to move is going to be the one to die.
Jack watched as the Legions hatch opened and the pilot stood up in his cockpit. "Hey, I want to make a deal with you!" yelled the IMC pilot. This surprised Jack, he knows that he could pull the trigger just once and the pilot would die right here and now, but the IMC pilot must have that as well. Jack respected this pilot he had the courage to get out of the protective shell of his titan to challenge another pilot, who was his enemy, and challenge him.
Jack reached to push the hatch open when he found it was locked "BC unlock the door" Jack said "Pilot this is not a safe move I can end this enemy pilot swiftly and we can go back to base" she replied. "That's the easy way out and I respect this pilot for his bravery, I want to give him a fighting chance" "That is an unsafe thing to do Pilot, you may have a higher chance of winning but it could be a trick and he-" "BC just open the hatch, if he gets back into his titan than well just have to deal with another titan." he replied having enough of her worrying. "Yes pilot," he heard a hiss and a click as the hatch opened with BC's hand right outside the bottom hatch.
Jack stepped out onto her hand and kept his balance as she brought her hand down to the ground. When Jack stepped off her hand she closed the hatch and stepped back from the pilots putting her XO16A2 chaingun on its magnetic rest on her 'waist'. "So what's your challenge?" asked Jack "I want to have a hand to hand fight." the pilot replied. Jack heard BC scoff behind him but otherwise ignored it "That sounds goods to me, lets go" the IMC pilot took a fighting stance while Jack just stood there with his arms crossed.
The IMC pilot made the first move by launching himself forward trying to tackle him but Jack dodged it and swung his foot around and into the back of the other pilots helmet making his head hit the ground hard enough to break the other pilots visor. Jack then proceeded to pick him up off the ground and curb check him with his grapple hook, Jack rolled the pilot over and put him in a respectable death position. He looked up to find the Legion titan kneeling on the other side of the pilot with his eye only on the pilot, "You have respectfully given my pilot a chance to prove himself and have respected him even in death I thank you." The titan then slowly stood up with his pilot in his hands and walked away from Jack and BC.
"See I told you it wouldn't be a problem" said Jack breaking the silence. "You were correct Jack, I am sorry for not trusting your 'super awesome and totally good fighting skills'" she said with sarcasm easily heard in her voice. Jack then called for a shuttle to come pick them up from this freshly war torn town to return them to the 6-4's ship. The only bad part for Jack about getting back to the ship was that when the ships hatch opened the first thing Jack saw was commander Gates standing there with her arms crossed, tapping her foot irritably.
