A/N: Written for the E/O Challenge, bby. Don't know when this takes place. Probably around season 2, season 3 (though there are no spoilers that I can discern). I do love me some delirious!Dean, don't I? Maybe I'll do another one that actually makes sense later.

Summary: E/O Challenge: Alert. Dean gets in trouble during a hunt, resulting in ouchies. delirious!Dean makes a special guest appearance. No spoilers.
Hopscotch
Suddenly, Dean is alert in a way he never has been before. Sounds some rushing at him, colored blue and red and pink like neon signs.
"Sammy," he says, clinging to the metal railing, "the sky is on fire!"
Words twist and bend coming out of his mouth, falling up into the blazing sun.
"Dean? Did it get to you?" Dazed and confused, Dean reaches past him out into the void. Sam pulls him back toward the wall.
Crazy child spirit or not, this thing's going down.
Dean blanches, falls. The last word he says before blacking out: "Hopscotch."
