"Eliot, could you grab Parker and Hardison? Sophie and I want to talk to all of you about something." Nate shifted his feet, looking uncharacteristically nervous.

Eliot nodded and ran to get the rest of the team. He hoped everything was okay. "Parker, Hardison. Come on, Nate wants to tell us something."

The hacker and the thief paused their movie. "Is everything okay?" Parker asked worriedly.

"I'm not sure." Eliot admitted.

"Well, what did he say it was about?"

"I don't know, Hardison. All he said was to grab you guys."

They reached the kitchen, where Sophie and Nate sat at the head of the table.

"Take a seat, everyone." Sophie smiled.

"Is Nate dying?" Parker blurted out.

He laughed. "No one is dying, Parker."

"Okay..." She sat down and leaned forward anxiously.

Nate and Sophie exchanged small smiles. Nate cleared his throat. "As you know, we've all grown closer over the years we've worked together. I consider you as more of a family than a team." He glanced nervously at Sophie. "Um, we're about to tell you something that might change the...dynamic of this family."

"Nate and I are getting married!" Sophie said happily. She took Nate's hand. "What? You were going too slow, you made it sound like one of us was leaving!"

"Congratulations!" Parker squealed, jumping up to hug Sophie.

"That's great!" Hardison shook Nate's hand. "Congrats, my man."

"Did he buy you a ring? Have you picked a date?" Parker gasped. "Oh my gosh, can I help pick out your wedding dress? CAN I BE A BRIDESMAID?"

Sophie laughed. "Calm down, Parker. Yes, you can help me pick out a dress. And of course, you'll be my maid of honor."

Parker hugged her again. "Oh, thank you!"

"We haven't decided on a date yet, but Nate did give me a beautiful ring." Sophie held out her hand to reveal a gorgeous diamond ring.

"I'm so so so happy for you!" Parker was bouncing up and down with joy.

"Eliot, come on, man. You gotta have somethin' to say." Hardison nudged his friend.

Eliot had been silent through the whole thing. They all looked to him, apprehensively awaiting his reaction. "Congratulations, I guess."

"You guess?" Parker glared at him.

"It's just...it's never good when co-workers get involved. What if things fall apart? It'll be awkward. Or what if they treat each other different? I don't know, it just makes me nervous."

"Those are some valid concerns, and that's why we wanted to announce it like this." Nate explained. "Like I said before, I consider us more than co-workers. We're a family. Now, a family takes work. It's not easy, and I'm prepared to do everything in my power to keep us together. And I promise not to give Sophie special privileges just because she's my wife."

"Alright. I trust you, Nate." Eliot looked a little more relaxed. "I'm happy for you, I really am." He grinned. "I like weddings."

"I call picking the music!" Hardison waved his hand in the air.

"Ooh, I'll help!"

"You're picking out the dress! Calm down, woman. You can't do everything." Hardison laughed at Parker's enthusiasm.

"I'll make the cake." Eliot said, trying to hide his own excitement.

"Looks like they're on board." Nate whispered into Sophie's ear.

She kissed his cheek. "I told you they would be."
