The Shadowfall Game:
To begin the game, we'll need to have begun another story. Dark Initiatives, the prequel to future crossovers that'll be written, will be this story. One chapter was written beforehand; as such, it will be the prequel before the game truly begins. Chapter 2 will start this game.
Now, the rules: The characters-both cannon and OC-will go through drastic changes in mental and emotional states. What you may have believed on what the characters will and won't do will begin to vary. These variances will start appearing in drastic bursts somewhere after Chapter 21. Why here? I'm not telling.
To play the game, you have to figure out what each character's has thought of in each chapter presented, and state in either a review or a PM to me as to what they'll do next. If you guess correctly on one or more of the guesses, I'll give you a small snippet as to what'll happen in the future. However, these are sporadic, and sometimes aren't a direct premonition to the next chapter of Dark Initiatives; they can be of other stories I have planned, or a scene of a chapter in the story that's much farther than you might expect.
Now, I'll state this: Some crossovers that I've chosen won't be given discretion-with the exception of those I've already created, such as OFF and Hellsing. That's the second part of the game you'll be playing: Determining the next crossover that'll be written, especially after Dark Initiatives. This is easier than the first part, however, as there'll be hints around Remnant to give you an indication as to what'll come next. The difference is that some crossovers will not directly affect the main story, while others will be intimately involved with the story. As I've said already, two of them you know of. But, neither will be written-or rewritten, in the Hellsing/RWBY crossover's case-directly after Dark Initiatives. That, my dear readers, is part of the game.
A poll will go up every 10 chapters OR if enough people get the correct answers to the game. This will give you guys the chance to determine what main event will happen in the future. Unlike the rest of the game, that bit of information will be set in stone, and it will NOT involve pairings of any kind except those confirmed-I'm looking at you, Arkos. However, one-night stands are a whole nother story.
Yes, this means that the future stories will be M to MA rated. Blood will flow, relations will be tested, peace shall be obliterated, and the shadow will fall...
