Take My Hand

Kira's POV

You know, ever since I've become a ranger, things have changed physically, mentally and even emotionally, you know? Well here's the reason why, ever since we've become rangers, then Trent comes along. Boy was I head over heels for him, and I even thought we were close right? I was far from wrong, especially since he became the White Ranger, totally broke my heart even. Then Conner comes along one day during a sparring session………..

"Hey," approached Conner. "You seem to be upset lately."

"Conner, I just can't believe that Trent's the White Ranger," replied Kira

"Here, come with me outside real quick okay?" asked Conner.

"Okay," smiled Kira as she giggled and followed Conner out of Dr. O's lab, out the backdoor to a small creek with a rock path of rocks to creek.

"Conner, are you sure about this?" asked Kira.

"Of course Kira. Here, take my hand and we'll cross together okay?" offered Conner and Kira lightly smiled and took his hand as they stepped out, as they were slowly crossing, Kira almost slipped and fell in just when Conner got her.

"I got you Kira," said Conner as Kira smiled and she eased up and they finished crossing, as there was a log nearby where Kira sat and observed the view and Conner joined her.

"Wow Conner, this is a beautiful view," commented Kira as the two of them were looking at the view of the trees, stream and woods.

"Isn't it?" asked Conner. "Whenever I get stressed or pissed, I come out here to relieve myself, you know?"

"Yeah, thanks for bringing me out here," replied Kira.

"Absolutely, actually Kira, I have to come clean though," admitted Conner.

"What is it? You know you can tell me," wondered Kira.

"It's you Kira, I've had you on my mind so much lately and I've noticed how Trent's hurt you dearly as well," confessed Conner.

Kira was stunned that Conner just said that about her, she wanted to kiss him madly like there was no tomorrow.

"Wow, I never knew, and you've been so good to me as well Conner, I've been hurting lately though as you can tell," said Kira.

"I know, Trent. But I just want to say that I promise to never hurt you like Trent did," confessed Conner. "You mean so much to me Kira."

"Say no more," said Kira as their lips met in a soft warm kiss. As their lips met, sparks were flying and Kira knew that she had made the right choice by taking Conner's hand.
