"Blade," Forge asked the slightly immature queen, one day; "what in Albion's name are you up to?"

"Oh," the queen replied, taking a dining chair by the legs and pointing it at him. "Same old, same old." She craned her neck and yelled, "Ready, Ben?" The officer called back that he was prepared. "Fantastic," said Blade. "Forge, you may want to move."

Forge stepped back, watching through the cracks of his fingers.

"Charge!" shouted Blade, lunging forward, toward her opponent. Ben followed, racing toward her, the legs of his own chair pointed at her.

Forge watched as the imbeciles rammed into each other. "This is the stupidest idea you've ever had," he said with the shake of his head.

Blade leaped to her feet. "It may be stupid, but it's also dumb!"

The comment triggered a face palm from Forge. It caused Ben to laugh.

"Take up arms!" cried Blade, pointing her chair at Forge.

"I dare you," the blacksmith smirked.

"Don't tempt me," said Blade, her own lips curling into a smile. "You're defenseless!"

"I don't think so," Forge said, grabbing an unoccupied chair and pointing it at the queen. "Come at me, punk!"

Blade grinned, holding her chair close her for protection. "Charge!"

She and Forge hurtled at each other, speeding up with no signs of slowing down. Blade glanced at Forge with uncertainty. Forge stared back at her with determination.

As they collided, Blade shouted, "Forge!"

Suddenly, they both flew back. Forge emerged from a sack of potatoes, laughing and rubbing a newly-formed bump on his head. Ben called to him in desperation. Forge followed the officer's gaze. Blade lay motionless across the room. From where Forge was, it seemed that she had hit her head pretty hard on the brick wall. Forge scampered to his feet, partially trying to balance himself, partially hastening to Blade's side in a panic.

"Blade?" he poked the queen, testing her.

No response.

Forge shook her lifeless body. "Hey! Blade!"

There was a moment of silence.

"I'm dead, you fool," came the reply. "Leave me to my peace."

"What peace?" came Forge's snarky remark. "You nearly gave me a heart attack."

Blade grinned and high-fived Ben.

This earned them both a smack in the head from the blacksmith.

And thus continued their wild adventures.
