When You Look Me In The Eyes

Serena walked slowly down the park path with the wind blowing softly through her hair and the night stars coming out one by one. She didnt really know were she was going but she new it would be somewere for her to think. All day Darien , one of her friends, was on her mind. She liked him alot but was always to afraid to tell him. Not knowing how he would react. It always scared her whenever she thought of telling him. She didnt want him to hate her or never talk to her again.

On the other side of the park was Darien. He was walking slowly down the path by the Rose garden. All he could think about was Serena. Not knowing what to do about his feelings. He was so affraid to tell her how he feels about her.

"Serena..." He thought outloud lightly as he saw someone walking slowly towerds the lake not knowing who it would be.

Serena walked slowly towerds the lake and when she got there she sat on the bridge that went out into the water. She took off her shoes and lightly put her feet into the water and feeling the cool waves drift.

"Oh Darien...I wish i could tell you how i really felt..." She said lightly thinking no one else was around and she looked up towerds the moon. Whatching it for awhille.

Darien couldnt believe what he just herd her say. He looked towerds her and he figured out it was Serena. 'She is so Beautiful...Like and Angel...' He thought to himself.

"Serena..." He said again lightly as we walked towerd her. Serena looked over at him and she blushed lightly and then she look into the water. Darien walked over to her and he sat next to her. Doing the same things she did after he roled up his pants and put his feet in the water.

"Why are you here?" She asked him not really knowing why. He looked over at her and he looked into her eyes trying to see if she was mad or not.

"I seen you here all alone and i wanted to talk to you about something" He looked away alittle embarresed about finally telling her how he felt.

"What do you want to talk to me about?" Serena got alittle affraid of what he would say. Not really knowing if it was bad or good.

"I...I...I wanted...to...tell you...how i...really...feel...about you..." He stutterd lightly as he looked up at her.

She blushed lightly. "I wanted to tell you the same thing but you first." She smirked lightly.

"I know it may seem like i dont like her but...I do Serena...I like you...alot...more then you will ever know..." Darien's face turned slightly red as he looked away.

"I like you Darien...The same way..." She smile lightly at him as he looked up at her. He put one of his arms around her as she layed her head on his shoulder. He kissed her head lightly. A small tear rolled down her face from happiness. She hugged him tightly not wanting to let go ever.

He held her close as he moved his head next to her ear and whisperd, "I love you Serena...Now and forever...Nothing will ever change the way I feel for you."

"I love you to Darien." She said as she looked up at him with a smile. He lightly rested his forhead against hers as he stared into her eyes. Seeing all the love for him. He smiled lightly as he leaned in slowly, kissing her lightly. Serena smiled lightly as she kissed him lightly back. Her first kiss was how she drempted it to be.

As they sat there in each others arms, all the stars came out.

"I guess i should get you home." Darien said lightly as he picked her up lightly and setting her on her feet. They got there things together and there shoes back on and they walked hand in hand back home. Happy to be with the one they loved.
