On the heels of the announcement that Jeffrey has become a proud new daddy to a baby girl, I present this! I used a verse of George Strait's I Saw God Today, as well as a quote from In Plain Sight. Enjoy, everyone!

Got my face pressed up against the nursery glass
She's sleeping like a rock
My name on her wrist
Wearing tiny pink socks
She's got my nose
She's got her mama's eyes
My brand new baby girl, she's a miracle
I saw God today
It still felt like a dream.
Standing in front of the window looking into the nursery, Michael was surrounded by other new parents. They all cooed and took pictures of their new babies, but he was happy just to watch her sleeping. From where he was standing, he could see the bracelet on her tiny wrist.
Baby Girl Westen.
His smile widened even more. The pregnancy had been a surprisingly smooth one, though unexpected. He had never planned on being a father. He was content with his life revolving around Fiona. He had no inclinations to share it with anyone else. But now their daughter was here and he couldn't remember a time when she wasn't a part of them.
"Hey, brother!"
Michael turned and embraced his best friend eagerly. "Hey, Sam."
"How are they?"
"Fantastic." Michael pulled Sam to the glass and pointed out his baby girl. "There she is…"
"Aww, she's a doll! How about Fi? How's she?"
"Fi's great. She's sleeping right now. Her doctor says they'll be released tonight." He couldn't wait to take his little family home.
Sam turned and hugged his best friend tightly. "You're a lucky man, Mikey. You'll make a great dad."
"Thanks, Sam."
They broke apart and turned back to the glass. Michael's little girl stirred and kicked her tiny feet in the air, making both men grin wildly.
I believe in finding people you'd run through a brick wall for, and making sure they know it, if not in so many words.
The End.
A/N: Well, there we have it! Our boy is now a daddy! Now I just can't stop picturing Michael and Fiona with babies! WEEEE! Congratulations, Jeffrey Donovan! Thanks for reading this, everyone, and please review!
