Note: I'm not using yen, only dollars.
The store bell chimed as the purple haired teen walked in, the purple hair noticeable against the old wooden walls. The store clerk flashed him a smile as she made her way towards him, her long black ponytail swaying with each step. "Hi, welcome," she greeted. "Can I help you with anything today?" Her smile remained as she craned her neck to look up and meet Murasakibara's gaze. Her name tag read 'Yumi', which Murasakibara made note of.
Murasakibara looked around at the store, remaining standing in his spot, humming to himself. "I'm looking for sweets..." He mumbled, tucking a strand of purple hair behind his ear.
Yumi's smile was wide as she spoke. "Well then, you've come to the right place. Is there any kind of specific sweet you were looking for?" She was only met with a shrug. "Alright, since you're currently my only customer, I'll help you find everything you need." She turned around and headed towards the sweets section, Murasakibara following her. "So are you looking for chocolate or sweets?"
Murasakibara turned his head towards the sweets. "Sweets today. Maybe I'll come back tomorrow to get some chocolates..." He said this more to himself than to Yumi, but the store clerk nodded with a big friendly smile on her face. Murasakibara scanned the store and picked up a bag of raspberry lollies. "Oh, that is an excellent choice!" Yumi exclaimed. "We're having a special sale on those; they're only $1 each."
Murasakibara hummed slightly at the price and picked up another four bags. He carried them in his long arms before moving on to find some sweets. He picked up a few lollipops and proceeded to open one and pop it in his mouth. Yumi didn't seem to mind either. "I'll just remember to charge you for it when you're finished." He sucked on the lollipop while staring at the collection of sweets.
It took him a while to decide what it was he actually wanted to buy, but by the time he reached the front counter to pay for his things, he scanned the things he planned to buy. There were at least ten bags of sweets, all varying in varieties. Some were soft sweets while others were hard. Yumi continued to smile as she scanned his things through. "Alright," she said when she was finished scanning. "The total comes to $20."
The purple haired teen opened his wallet and handed her the money before grabbing his bag and leaving the store, a small smile on his face as he thought about going home and eating his sweets.
I really just wanted to write a cute little fic about Murasakibara, because, honestly, he is one of the cutest characters in Kuroko no Basuke.
