Disclaimer: I don't anything Harry Potter....and if I did, I wouldn't be writing pathetic little fics on here, I'd be at my beach house in the Caribbean bathing in the sun!I don't own the song either. It's by Clay Aiken.

What are you doing tonight

I wish I could be a fly on your wall

Are you really alone

Still in your dreams

Why can't I bring you into my life

What would it take to make you see that I'm alive

Ron watched silently from across the room. He was watching Harry and Hermione. Harry's face was twisted into fake interest as Hermione was using her hands to describe something to him. Ron smiled. She was so beautiful, sitting in the fires glow, the light reflecting in her warm brown eyes.

If I was invisible

Then I could just watch you in your room

If I was invisible

I'd make you mine tonight

If hearts were unbreakable

Then I can just tell you where I stand

I would be the smartest man

If I was invisible

(Wait..I already am)

Couldn't she see how much he cared? No. She was still all wrapped up in Viktor Krum. They wrote to each other nearly every day. It made Ron sick. He wanted her all to himself. How would that happen? She flipped her hair over her shoulder and Harry and she laughed at something Ron couldn't hear. She flirted with everyone but him. Why?

I saw your face in the crowd

I called out your name

You don't hear a sound

I keep tracing your steps

Each move that you make

Wish I could be what goes through your mind

Wish you could touch me with the colors of your life

Why couldn't he just work up the courage to tell her? She was the only girl he had ever really

cared about. He wanted her more than anything in the world, and he wanted to make sure she was never alone again.

If I was invisible

Then I could just watch you in your room

If I was invisible

I'd make you mine tonight

If hearts were unbreakable

Then I can just tell you where I stand

I would be the smartest man

If I was invisible

(Wait..I already am)

Harry and Hermione got up, and headed out of the common room. Ron followed them, and watched with envy. Why was it so easy for them to talk to each other? With him and Hermione, there were these awful, long awkward silences.

I reach out

But you don't even see me

Even when I'm screaming

Baby, you don't hear me

I am nothing without you

Just a shadow passing through...

Hermione and Harry walked down the corridor and to the library. Ron slipped in and slid

behind bookcase. Harry, and Hermione sat down at a table and pulled out their Defense Against the Dark Arts books, 2 quills, and a couple rolls of parchment. Ron removed a book and watched them. He felt like a stalker. He wanted to tell her. He needed to tell her. She deserved to know the truth.

"Hermione," he whispered so quietly that nobody would ever hear him, "I love you...." Then walked around the bookcase and slipped out, right past his friends, unnoticed.

If I was invisible

Then I could just watch you in your room

If I was invisible

I'd make you mine tonight

If hearts were unbreakable

Then I can just tell you where I stand

I would be the smartest man

If I was invisible

(Wait..I already am)
