Neptune moans. She staggers to her feet and attempts to run to Uranus' aide. She trips, Eugile gasps and the sound of a pulled trigger is heard. Amara watches as Neptune's pure heart is stolen. "NEPTUNE!"
Amara shot up gasping for air. "Not that dream again!" she thought as she held her head. She turned to Michelle, who didn't stir. Amara gave a sigh of relief as she smiled at her sleeping companion and wiped the cold sweat from her forehead. She pushed back the covers and walked to the living room.
As she sat on the windowsill, the memories of losing Michelle came back to her. Amara looked at her hands. "I guess my hands were too soiled to save her." "Amara?" Michelle was standing in the doorway. "Couldn't sleep?"
"No," Amara lied, but Michelle knew what was going on. "The nightmare again?" Amara didn't say anything. Michelle sat on the windowsill. "Amara, your hands are still clean to me." Amara smirked, "If my hands are so clean, how come I couldn't save you?" Michelle looked out the window. "Because it was our destiny. It was the only way we would have figured out that we are the holders of the pure heart crystals."
Amara crossed her arms. She didn't feel like debating about this subject and having to admit that she was glad that Sailor Moon had come to her and Michelle's rescue.
Michelle got up and spread Amara's legs apart. Michelle couldn't help but smile as Amara gave her a confused look while she sat between her legs.
As Michelle leaned against her body, Amara gave a small smile and placed her arm around Michelle's waist. "I'm sorry Michelle," Amara told her as Michelle began to play with her fingers, "I don't want to lose you." Amara held her tight, "I don't want you to leave me here alone." Michelle squeezed her hand. "Unless fate intervenes," Michelle slowly said, "I'll never leave you." Amara put both her arms around Michelle's waist, looked down at her, smiled, and kissed her.
