Author's Note: I watched Home Alone on ABC Family part of 25 Days of Christmas over winter break, and I've been brainstorming ideas. After writing a poem about the Pink Ladies in Grease (check it out if you're fans of Grease), I decided to write a poem on Home Alone!
This poem is about Kevin's siblings Buzz, Megan, Linnie, and Jeff McAllister. Read on!
I don't own Home Alone or the characters. They belong to the legendary John Hughes (God bless his soul).
Despicable Siblings
Meet Kevin McAllister's brothers and sisters.
Their parents think they're so special.
Deep down they're all jerks.
Buzz McAllister- Peter and Kate's oldest child.
Big, immature, and mean.
Owns a pet tarantula.
"Kevin, I'm going to feed you to my tarantula."
Ate Kevin's slice of cheese pizza.
Which started the fight (spilled milk involved).
Doesn't care about Kevin being left alone at home.
Makes amends with Kevin.
"It's cool you didn't burn the place down."
"Kevin! What did you do to my room?"
Humiliates Kevin at the Christmas Pageant.
Using fake candles
Gets shoved and the choir comes
Tumbling down like dominoes
Sucks up to his parents
Then insults Kevin
"Beat that, you little trout sniffer!"
Megan McAllister- Kevin's snarky oldest sister.
Shows disrespect towards Kevin
Acts upfront about it.
Kevin asks Jeff to help him pack his suitcase.
She says "tough" (which is what Jeff said).
"What was I supposed to do? Shake his hand and say
'Congratulations, you're an idiot?'"
Kevin says, "I'm not an idiot!"
"Oh really? You're so helpless!"
Linnie McAllister- Kevin's snobby older sister.
Tells Jeff not to pack crap in his suitcase.
Assures Kevin that their Mom will pack his suitcase for him.
"You're what the French call 'les incompetents'."
She's what the French call les witch.
Jeff McAllister- Kevin's obnoxious red-haired older brother.
Refuses to help Kevin pack.
"Tough" He says (which is what Megan said).
Suggests Kevin should pack toilet tissue and water.
Tosses his duffel over the banister.
"Bombs away!"
Pizza is ruined.
"Kevin, you're such a disease!"
"Shut up Jeff!"

Yes, that was kind of short but I hope you enjoyed it! You may have noticed I added references and a line from the second Home Alone (I watched it on DVD during Christmas break) in the section about Buzz. But the rest is references and lines from the first movie (in chronological sequence). Please review it would be great!
