Patamon and Gatomon were sitting under a tree, holding each other.
It had been six months since the defeat of MaloMyotismon and since then, Patamon's and Gatomon's feelings had grown.
They had been dating for two months now and everyone was very happy for them, as well as Veemon.
He had admitted that he had liked Gatomon as nothing more than a crush and accepted his friends happiness, in a way, he was happy for them too.
Gatomon was holding Patamon in her arms, lying against the tree.
"Patamon" said Gatomon,
"Mm-hmm?" He murmured.
"Can I ask you something?" she asked, "Anything, Gatomon." He replied.
"Umm…." She hesitated for a moment
. "You won't ever leave me…will you?"
"What's brought this on?" he asked,
"Nothing" she was quick to reply
"It's just…that Veemon said he only had a crush on me"
"and?" he asked,
"Well…how do I know that what you have for me is not just a crush" she finished.
Patamon looked hurt.
"What makes you think that?" he asked.
"I don't know…I just…I don't know." she said.
"Gatomon, you are not just any girl, you're my girl, the Mon I love. You're the most kind, confident, funniest and beautiful digimon I've ever known."
He blushed after what he said.
"I'm sorry…I didn't mean to upset you." She apologized,
"It's ok." He said.
"You really think that way about me?" she asked,
"Always, since I first met you at Myotismon's Castle." He stated.
"Pata'….I love you" she kissed him.
"I love you too, Gatomon. Now…I think that we can do a little better than that".
She giggled as he kissed her passionately.
"I love you Gatomon, always and forever." He said and hugged her.
Gatomon sighed, "I hope this never ends" she said. "It won't" he replied.
They hugged each other and watched the sunset.
