Chapter 1: Journal Entry's

Nicholas':

Today we are moving back into the Institute after 17 years! Taissa, Lexi, and Kasey have never seen the place and I don't remember it much so it will be a HUGE change from our old life in the London, Paris Institute. Mum and dad are excited but I'm still not sure about the whole affair. The only thing that I remember about the family is that my uncles moved away to California with Magnus' father. Uncle Jace and Clary were pregnant with my oldest cousin Silena. I have to admit that being back here will be strange but I have a feeling... Having no idea if it was a good or bad feeling.

Silena's:

I'm half excited and half nervous about meeting my cousins. I don't think that any one of us kids know why we haven't met each other ever. I thought that the family was close but I guess I was wrong... My mother seems really excited about seeing them again but my dad is feeling remorse. I can just tell.

Even though I should love my cousins I have a feeling that I will make them work hard for my love and trust. Yeah, I actually agree with my father on something

Taissa's:

Meeting the only family that I know of for the first time is giving me nervous vibes. Knowing about what separated the family in the first place is very nerve racking. Being the oldest Lewis daughter is kind of pressuring me with having to control the twins. Nick is no help in this situation. As usual I have to be the responsible one, but I won't show it in front of my friends. I understand why my parents wanted this opportunity, I'm glad they took it but... Why couldn't the WHOLE family come?! All the parents would have to do is forgive and forget and live a big happy family. Yeah I'm the peacemaker in the family. Yipee...
