50. Love

Kat couldn't be in love with Fred Weasley, but when he gave her that look, she seemed to forget that fact.

47. Magic

He knew it was cliché, but the feeling he had when she kissed him, he could only describe as magic.

7. Butterflies

After her fist kiss with Fred, Kat finally knew what it was like to have butterflies.

13. White bikini

She never told him, but she secretly loved the way his eyes wandered her body the first time he saw her in that white bikini.

12. Pink silk

Fred had to admit, he loved the way the pink silk pajamas looked against her pale skin.

1. Ring

Kat never liked jewelry, but she had to admit, the ring did look nice on her left hand.

3. Wedding

Kat was sitting at a table at Bill's wedding, listening to Molly talk about this being the first of many weddings to come. She played with the ring that hung on a chain just under the neckline of her dress and wondered what Molly would think when she found out this wasn't the first.

15. Funeral

She didn't go to his funeral, or so everyone thought, but George knew she was the one who could have arranged that brilliant firework show, ending with the words "Mischief managed."

25. Period

Three weeks after the funeral, Kat and George were sitting in the flat they had shared with Fred, each lost in their own thoughts, when she caught sight of the calendar.

"I'm late," she said aloud.

"Late for what?" George said distractedly, still lost in thought.

"You know, late," I said, with more emphasis on the word.

"Oh," he said finally getting it. We sat for what felt like hours, both thinking about what this meant.

4. Hope

She thought she might die from the pain of losing Fred, but the little pink bundle in her arms gives her a reason to hold on.

"What will you call her?" asked the healer.

Kat thought for a moment, and smiled her first smile in months.

"Hope."
