As you already know the three Bauledaire orphans have had many unfortunate events in their lives since the house fire that killed their parents.
The night of their parents death they were in Mr. Poe's care. Mr. Poe worked at the bank and was in charge of there enormous fortune that the Bauledaire's parents left behind that Violet will get when she comes of age. They stayed with Mr. Poe until he found the closest relative Count Olaf, the most evil man ever born.
Even though they had escaped living with him, Olaf would find them and kill all of their relatives one by one just to get his dirty hands on the fortune.
If you knew Violet Bauledaire you would know if her hair was tied up she was thinking of an invention. Right now she was thinking how to make this plane go faster. She was very nervous on meeting their new guardian Professor Snape.
Klaus the middle Bauledaire child very much longed for a book. On the flight you would often find him reading the back of the peanuts wrapper. Klaus couldn't stop thinking what Professor Snape would be like.
Sunny the youngest Bauledaire loved to chew on things due to her four sharp teeth. Sunny who was chewing on the arm of the seat was thinking whether Professor Snape would be anything like Count Olaf.
"Children, you will be staying with your uncle's cousin once removed or was it your cousin's uncle once removed, anyway he teaches at some prep school in Britain." Mr. Poe said.
"Remember if you have any questions you can contact me at the bank. Though they don't use telephones so you will have to send me an owl."
"An owl!" they all exclaimed.
"Don't' worry children Professor Snape will explain everything when you get there. Now sit and relax we still have six and a half hours until we get there " Mr. Poe said calmly.
