A/N: Okay, so this is set after the seventh season. May be overdone, but that's okay because right now, I need to write.

"Hi, you've reached Rory Gilmore. If you're calling about something paper-related, I will be back on October 24th, until then, don't bother me. If you're anyone else, leave your name, number, and short message after the beep."

Beep!

"Hi Rory," he sighed, "It's Logan. I've been trying to get a hold of you for a few weeks now. I just want to talk to you. Please, call me back."

Logan hung p his phone and sunk further into the couch. He just wished she would hear him out. He hadn't talk to her in months, but he wanted to apologize for all he had done to her…maybe even get her back. She was the best thing that had ever happened to him and he messed it up.

Guess he was going to have to take a trip to Stars Hollow.

--

"Who was it?"

"Logan."

"Again?"

"Yeah," she sighed.

"When will he take the hint?"

"I don't know," she admitted as she rubbed her belly.

--

Logan zoomed into the parking space across form Luke's and took the key from the ignition. He stepped out of his car and started walking to the diner.

--

Rory was standing from the counter which covered her up to just below her chest. She looked up as the door jingled and rolled her eyes at who had come in.

"What are you doing here Logan?" She asked tiredly.

"You won't return my phone calls," he stated.

"Didn't you think there was a reason for that?" She asked sharply.

"Yes and I want to know that reason," Logan told her.

Rory sighed and brought a hand up to her temple and started to rub it, "I don't have time for this, Logan."

"Yeah, well if you had returned my calls we wouldn't be doing this right now," he fired back.

"I have a life now Logan! I have a job! I have gotten over you and did so a long time ago! Just leave me alone!" She yelled.

Jess came out form the back, "You okay Ror?"

Rory shook her head slightly and went into Jess' waiting, open arms.

"What the hell do you want Logan?" Jess hissed.

By now, the diner patrons were watching with interest the scene being unfolded before them.

"You're with him now?" Logan spat.

Rory turned viciously around and stared at Logan with cold eyes that could have turned him to stone, "Yes," she spat back, "And I'm happier with him than I ever was with you."

The diner gave out a collective gasp and glued their eyes to Logan waiting for a reaction.

"Ace…I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I ever hurt you and let you go. We can still be together, we can still be happy," Logan pleaded.

Rory stepped out from behind the counter, revealing to Logan her four-month-pregnant belly, "No Logan, we can't. I have a life now!" She cried, "A family," she quieted down and rested a hand on her belly.

Jess came behind her and wrapped both arms protectively around her, "Settle down, it's not good for the baby," he whispered to her.

Rory nodded and went back to counting receipts behind the counter. The entire diner was silent as Logan stood and stared in shock at Rory. Jess went back into the kitchen and after five whole minutes of staring, Logan left without a word and drove back to Hartford to get drunk as he always did. Nothing would ever change with him. He would always be the rich playboy who goes got and gets drunk and laid every night. Wasted.
