"Whoa there cowboy, did you just bite me?"
-
As always with me and relationships (mostly ones that turn into marriages that are built on nothing and mean nothing, oh and Doomsdays) something turns out wrong, he is really dull, he cheats, he turns out to be the one who destiny is to kill my best friend oh and the latest he turns out to be a vampire.
(I dare Lana freaking Lang to top that, and no spider-boy does not count, nor do all of your many stalkers)
Yes you heard me not some rabies spreading Lana Lang wannabe but one hundred present the real cross-fearing, blood drinking, fall to dust, vampire.
"Surprise! Chloe, don't you just love surprises?"
-
I hate surprises all the way down to my very core (which I know is childish, but at this point, who cares?) not because I'm mean and despise birthday parties but the fact that my life has been filled to the brim with surprises and none of them have been good.
(Examples – 'I'm Doomsday, come to kill your best-friend, love me!'- 'I'm a drug-addict now and claim your a bad wife even though I haven't really had to chance to be your husband' so, yeah)
But instead of saying (or in this case yelling) 'no' and something witty, the best plan of action was to just run.
(run like hell)
"Hey, Chlo! We were just starting to have some fun!"
-
Fun for me (which over the years I've been having less and less of) was reading a good book, teasing Clark Kent, writing and investigating a good story but in no way was running for my life and blood fun in my book.
What was fun in that single moment (which was counting down to my death one crazy laugh a minute) was kicking that so-said vampire's ass six ways to Sunday but sadly I didn't get to be the one to do this.
No the one that sent him flying almost taking of his head in the process (something after meeting the man, not a man at all, I would pay to see) was the one and only Buffy Summers who had been a topic of my many articles after only one single day in Sunnydale, which isn't sunny at all.
(that's if you live life by opposites which means sunny to you is grave yards, black, black nights and creatures of the night and sometimes even the day)
"Umm...thank you. I was just about to try and do that myself (even I find this funny myself, oh, so sad I am)."
"No problem, Watchtower (Oliver and her have spend more then one night together if you know what I mean, I'm not jealous, Lois is trying to prove this which is not true!) I always and I mean always am in the mood to knock the old ex around."
(Angelus – 'This I know is true from years of it, and lots of bruising.')
