Merry Christmas 2011 everyone! This is just a little ficlet inspired by two beautiful pieces of Drarry fanart, to which the links are posted on my profile. Review or not, I will still give you tons of hugs and virtual cookies. Or real ones. Seriously, I have no more counter space. ^_^ Much love to everyone and I hope your Christmas was wonderful!

Draco Malfoy stood on the Weasleys´ porch, drinking in the crisp night air. The abundance of lights decorating their home—much too vibrant for Draco's taste, but he tolerated them—lit up the snow-covered pines and spruces. Their scent reminded him of home, their color—Harry. He could not help but grin at that those thoughts. Speak of the devil… The blonde aristocrat wore a Cheshire cat smile as he heard footsteps approaching.

"Hey—is everything alright, Dray? You kind of just slipped out of the party. Even a Slytherin can't avoid Molly when she's adamant about you having a good time. And food."

"I've eaten enough to feed the nation," Draco laughed, pivoting on his heel to meet green eyes. This would be the only way to assure Harry nothing was wrong. His grin grew wider as he wondered when exactly he had become so comfortable trusting anyone. "I am fine—more than fine. And so are you, if I don't say so myself."

"Really?" Harry murmured; his voice deepened when he drew closer to Draco. A cool, alabaster finger stroked his cheek and he shivered, eyelids fluttering closed momentarily. "You know, I—I—" The raven-haired wizard's breath caught in his throat.

"What is it, Harry?" Draco whispered, allowing the cold air from his breath to tickle the other man's ear.

"I—I am f-feeling a bit c-cold right now."

"Well then, we had better fix that," Draco whispered, wrapping his arms around his lover and hugging him tight. He continued gazing into Harry's eyes, the intense light inside his own mercury orbs never leaving despite his grin's cheekiness. "Happy Christmas, Harry."

"Happy Christmas, Draco," Harry whispered back. "Thank you for the warmth… So why did you come outside anyway?"

"For this..."

What happened next is generally reserved for underneath mistletoe on this particular day, but there was plenty of red and green to go around.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
