i. camp half-blood

Whether there is battle raging or everything is calm and all you can hear is laughter and whoops from the basketball court, Camp Half-Blood is Annabeth Chase's first home.

This is where she belonged. Together with the ""freaks"" who had a god or a goddess as one of their parent and who had super powers and who was trained by a centaur.

This was where she was accepted without second thought, where she was claimed almost immediately, where she can relate with other kids.

So, yes, it is safe to say that whether there are corpse littered on the ground together with icky monster remains, the screams of victims - monsters and demigod both, light flashing in the air, swords clashing and the whole place in fire or whether the grass is green and demigods are playing basketball or capture the flag or trying not to die in the lava climbing wall or practicing weapons any kids their age shouldn't, Camp Half-Blood is Annabeth Chase's first home.

ii. chase residence

The Chase residence wouldn't be the first thing Annabeth would mention if ever asked "Where's your home?"

She found the sound of her brother's constant arguments over silly toys annoying; she found the same silly toys littered on the ground even more annoying - once she'd stepped on a Lego brick and the pain, the agony. The smell of the Asian food her step-mom cooks, her dad everyday making and destroying and remaking planes and plane models, ugh.

It was where her mortal family was, yes, but it wasn't where her heart is.

But really, retrieving Zeus' lighting bolt, sailing through the Sea of Monsters to save a satyr friend, literally holding the world on your shoulders, being trapped in a maze that is alive constantly changing, saving the world from a whole Titan army with only teenage kids such as herself and surviving the war with the Giants really do change your point of view.

Annabeth Chase now finds the house simply a house without her brother's arguments over silly toys and without the same silly toys littered on the ground. The smell of Asian food her step-mom cooks, her dad everyday making and destroying and remaking planes and model planes, it's what makes this place home for Annabeth Chase.

iii. percy jackson's arms

At an early age of you meet a scrawny boy - preferably with black hair and green eyes - who drools in his sleep and lets you join his quest to get Zeus' lighting bolt, who would sail with you through the Sea of Monsters and would save you from the Sirens' song, who would trek half the country to save you and would hold the world on top of his shoulders, who would join you on your quest to possible death, who would risk his life to save you and the only thing you have in change is a kiss and who would protect you even in front of a Titan, who would let you kiss him underwater, Annabeth Chase recommends you just sink into his now well defined arms and call it home and just kiss him over and over until you both retire to old age and wither.

Sure, during the long run, when everything is calm and good and normal for demigod standards, he would get abducted by a crazy goddess and bring him to a Roman camp and would get a blonde, blue eyed boy in change for him - note: do not trust him, Annabeth would also recommend - but you will meet him again and his arms would be your home once again.

And if you don't - well, just find the guy who has your heart. Because, after all, home is where the heart is.

A/N: This is rather short, innit? Yeah, well... I've actually been working on this since forever and I keep on editing it and idk here's it.

Also, I just finished Serpent's Shadow yesterday. I have so many feels about it oh my gods.

What did you think about it?

Disclaimer: I have nothing witty to say right now. Darn.

Would be great for a girl's self esteem if you review :-)
