You had only been working in central for a few weeks and were still adjusting when you first saw them. You had heard all the rumors about them, everyone had, but it still shocked you when you saw just how young they…well, he looked. Were they really only fifteen and fourteen? They looked so much younger.

The golden haired boy had been walking down the hallway towards you, his surprisingly heavy footsteps barely audible over the clanking of his companion's armor. His eyes, almost the same color as his hair, held a world of knowledge that not even his youthful appearance could hide. Maybe that is what helped arouse your curiosity about him, how he had old yet young eyes.

His face had been craned back to look up at the one in armor. His brother, you remember, the younger brother. The difference in height was comical yet disturbing at the same time. How could a fourteen year old be that tall? The thought had settled wrong in your head, so you brushed it aside in favor of studying them some more before they reached you.

Both of them were covered from head to foot. The boy had on a red coat with a black jacket and then another black shirt under that. Leather pants and heavy boots covered the rest of him, while white gloves shielded his hands from sight. His outfit had made you frown. Not surprising considering you were stifled underneath your uniform, but he didn't look bothered by the heat at all.

At that moment, laughter pealed out and the boy almost doubled over laughing. Suddenly, he looked even younger, the obvious tension that hung off of his shoulders dissipating for a few seconds. His right hand had come up in the form of a fist to tap against the breastplate of his brother's armor, who had tilted his head to look down on his older brother. You could almost imagine that he was smiling back.

Abruptly, you had felt the sensation that you were looking in on something you shouldn't be. Of their own accord, your eyes had darted away and your body was turning away from the two as they came level with you. When they had passed, you stared at their back and can't help but feel like they had a world of secrets hidden between the two of them.
