A/N: Hello! This story is kinda like the sequel to my other fic Troublesome Gold. This is Gold's side of the tale, rather, and his reaction after reading the email Crystal sent him. An AU fic, of course. Or slightly AU, if you get what I mean.

Read no further if you haven't read Troublesome Gold. Oh, and I apologise if the last part of Troublesome Gold was a little too perverted; Gold is Gold.

Gold's POV

My relationship between Crystal and I was a failed one, cuz... I didn't really love her, actually. Rather, I love that hot lady that Crystal was hanging out with, but... It started when...

I was lugging a box for my mum at Goldenrod Mall, when I met Crystal and Blue and their friends. There was Crystal, Blue, this girl wearing a concealing outfit who turned out to be called Yellow, a girl with a spiky ponytail who was named Sapphire, this rich, classy girl who was Platinum, a boy with gravity-defying blond hair whose name is Pearl and a boy who was a slight glutton whose real name is Diamond, but everyone calls him Dia.

Crystal spotted me and rushed over to lend me a hand. Her friends didn't exactly lend a hand, but I didn't care.

After dropping the box of at my place in New Bark Town, I treated Crystal to ice cream; I am a dude who pays people back duly.

While having ice cream, we chatted, and I found out the girl named Blue is dating someone else. My heart sank, but I didn't show it. Still, I was determined to steal her (Blue) away. Unfortunately, I had to break some hearts along the way, but I'm determined.

A week later, I'd put my plan to action and asked Crystal out, and she actually said yes!

I took her out to the beach and we danced and had a blast (though she nagged at me about my long fingernails). The day after that, I took her out to Celadon and we waltzed about by the well-trimmed bushes.

Two months later, I'd took her out to watch my favourite band, Poké On. After that, she told me her new favourite band was Poké On! Wow!

The next day, I secretly asked Blue to date with me. She agreed! Big wow! She told me she agreed cuz she secretly hated Crystal.

The year after we've (Crystal and I) met, I took her out to the Game Corner. I was actually kinda surprised she's never been there. Then again, she is super serious.

So we went there, then who but Silver, Blue's not secret boyfriend showed up with this quiet wolf guy. Silver had beaten me up, and the emotionally-wolf person just kinda subdued Crystal without hurting her. Much, anyway.

She was crying afterwards, and she quickly brought me to the hospital. The nurses there were nice enough, but the food tasted like cow dung.

Then two months later, I brought her out to some open dance thingy. I purposely danced away from her when her eyes were closed. I hurried off to wear Blue was, and we started kissing by the fire.

I bet Crystal saw us, cuz I'd heard a "no way!" and a string of vulgarities.

Five minutes ago, Crystal sent me an email. A break-up email. A hurtful, stinging, mean break-up email.

But what's a guy gotta do when he's the cause of the worst kind of break-up? Especially when he's caught (intentionally) with another, prettier girl? I just replied a "good bye" and shut off the computer.

There were tears in my eyes, strangely.
