Haikus are short and sweet, so why not? I categorized this under "Poetry" because Haikus are, technically, a kind of Japanese poetry.
I'll be making haiku for all the main ToA characters. For those of you who have completed the whole game, you might get the hidden meaning behind some of the phrases. For those of you who haven't, there would be (or at least, hints of) spoilers here, so proceed with caution.
Disclaimer: I do not own Tales of the Abyss or any of the characters and places associated with it. I am only writing this for fun, and not for profit.
Auldrant Haikus
It's Luke fon Fabre.
A lost soul who's changed a lot.
For all which he took.
Mysterica Grants.
Brave soul, lovely voice, selfless…
Gave all for the world.
Tall, cute Guy Cecil.
A real woman's dream come true...
Shame he can't be touched.
"Queen Natalia"…
She'd love her home and people.
Strong, loyal – she's real.
Anise Tatlin's plan:
Find and marry a rich man.
Cash brings her freedom.
Colonel Jade Curtiss.
Unreadable with his smile.
A sadist genius.
Fon Master Ion.
Lorelei, Yulia, Daath…
Symbol of them all.
Irking and still cute…
But still did his best for friends.
Oh, that's just like Mieu.
Who's Asch the Bloody?
The child of the sacred flame,
A true noble's blood.
Legretta the Quick.
No more she loved the people,
Shackled to the Score.
Wild Arietta,
Grieved over her lost mother,
Justice is revenge.
A replacement's name.
He's thrown away by the world,
Just… "Sync the Tempest".
Dist: Rose or Reaper?
No, to friends, he's just "Runny",
A joke of a man.
Man of the desert,
He's Largo the Black Lion.
A royal's father.
For Hod's sake, Van will…
…Destroy and create a world,
With just replicas.
There. Done~
Don't expect anything longer than this. Because that would mean me having to write for the side and supporting characters as well, and I'm not sure if I can do that. o_o
For your information, I do not hate Dist. Remember that the "friend" part is referring to Jade, and I wrote down what HE probably thought of Dist now. Speaking of Jade. I hope I got his right, since "Colonel" is pronounced like "ker-nal": which contains just two syllables.
Thank you for reading this~
