She held onto his shirt tightly, her eyes closing and her tears sliding down her unusually pale cheeks, her hair was all over the place, and her blue eyes were fogged with water. Freddie, being the inconvenient one holding her, just stood there, looking down at the beautiful mess in his arms.

"i-I'm so sorry, Fredward!"

'Even when she's crying, she's insulting me' his thoughts mumbled, but he gave a small smile.

"I-I went too far…I know…and I'm so sorry.." he had waited most of his young life for the girl in his arms to say kind words to him, anything at all, really. But it upset him that she was acting like this, she hadn't done anything wrong to him…yet?

She kept tugging on his shirt, like she couldn't get a good enough grip on him, like she couldn't wait to have him hold her.

He tightened his grip around her waist hesitantly, looking at her to see if it was okay, but she didn't notice, so he gave into what his mind told him to do.

Comfort her.

"Sshh, Sam…its okay…why are you crying? I'm perfectly fine" he mumbled, running his fingers through her hair and resting his head atop of hers.

She froze in her place.

"b-but…all that I've done to you…don't you hate me?"

As soon as those words came running out of her mouth, she regretted it.

Freddie roughly pushed her back a bit, his hands tightly gripping her shoulders, a stern look in his eyes.
"Listen to me, Samantha Joy Puckett, I do NOT, nor will I EVER, hate you!" his eyes softened a bit.

"no matter what you do to me, I can never hate you, no matter what reason I find, and trust me I try, there is no reason to hate someone so…strong willed, and brave…and beautiful." He whispered the last part, making her heart ache. But she shrugged it off, suggesting heart burn.

"so don't you ever think I could hate you, because…because it's never gonna happen! In fact I really like someone like you, like really like, I mean not like to be rude bu-"

"Benson, you can shut up now"

"T-thanks"

She laughed hoarsely, rubbing her eyes and narrowing them, than she held out her arms, colliding into him and holding him tight.

"thanks, Fredweird…"

"no problem, Princess Puckett" he smiled and held her back.

Okay so, the reason sam was crying, in case you didn't get it, was because she finally realized all she put Freddie through, and all the pain she caused him because she felt it herself once before. I hope you like it.!~
