Sleeping Styles
Everyone has their own method of sleeping, their own distinctive way of breathing and moving as they rested for the day.
Ed could be summed up in one word; sprawled, often across a desk or chair, sometimes with a pen in hand and most times with his stomach out.
Al, when he was still a boy, would sleep peacefully with a straight orderly posture on his back or front.
Winry – most recently – had taken to sleeping at her workbench, head on her arms and soft, breathy exhales marking each second.
Havoc had a particularly interesting way of sleeping; crossing both his arms and his legs at the ankles and turning his head to one side.
Breda was a twitcher, occasionally grumbling angrily as he moved from back to front to side.
Surprisingly enough the normally quiet techie – Kain Fuery – kept up a constant snoring, making occasional changes in tone, pitch and volume.
Falman had the air of something that belonged in a coffin when he slept; mask over his eyes, sheets under his arms and tucked perfectly around him as he did not move. Not even once.
Riza Hawkeye regulated her sleep so at a certain time of night she would put down whichever romance novel had entertained her for the night and fall into a nice, semi-alert sleep, hand near the guns she kept hidden. And try as you might you could never get her to admit the reason behind the small smile on her face as she slept.
Roy – though he denies all accusations – was a pillow-hog. A pillow would frequently be found wedged between his arms and legs, a dopey grin on his face as he nuzzled it and dreamt of a certain blonde lieutenant…
WitW: Ok, I'll admit this was pure drabble on my part, but the idea just came to me. Some odd trivia for you; I styled Havoc's sleep method after one I'd adopted a month or so back -
Havoc: What weirdo sleeps like that?
WitW: You apparently.
Havoc: …shit.
WitW: I can't help it; you have to admit, it's really comfortable
Havoc: …zzz…
WitW: I also couldn't think of anything for Falman so I decided to style him off of Sheldon's sleeping style (The Big Bang Theory) *shudder*…It is like getting into bed with Dracula isn't it? But I thought it might suit him. Hint of Royai – cause I'm jiggy like that. So please review, Dey. Make. Me. Lolz. *loopy-face*
