"What would you do if you met a monster?"

My head aches with pains that seem to be uncontrollable and begin to open my eyes unto a gloomy night with the stars clearly lit in the sky, tree branches swayed in the gentle wind. The area around me is dark almost as if I am in the middle of a deep slumber so i reach into my left pocket where lint has begun to build up in and pull out my phone; I turn on my phone revealing a rich beam of light which my eyes find blinding, but it seems to be enough to light at least a few meters ahead of me. I begin to take steps and hear the crunching of the grass with even the smallest of steps, the area I an currently in appears to be a forested area where the surrounding trees make it feel like I am in a maze. As I am stepping this strange feeling in my gut is telling me
"look behind you"
My spine begins to chill as the wind begins to cool my body, but I always have this urge to turn because whispers roam the tree tops and into my ears and in a maniacal voice says
"I am behind you, and you know I am behind you so turn around"
As a stubborn person I continue to ignore everything surrounding me except what is currently in my field of vision. My phone light flickers and with each flicker hair by hair on my body begins to stand, fear is in me even though I try to think logically
"I am dreaming and this will all be over soon"
So I do what I usually do to wake up from any ordinary dream which is to blink really hard three consecutive times. Blinking is a natural human nature yet my eyes feel as if they are held open, but I manage to close my eyes, yet opening them required me to use my spare hand to open each eyelid; after a few seconds of pulling I have got one eye open when a whisper works it way into my ear again
"I dare you to open your other eye"
My heart sank and I became motionless, I literally dropped the phone in horror knowing what ever is after me is an eyelid away from me, the phone hits the ground with a loud pound and the phone lands with the light facing up reflecting my shadow onto the tree in my peripheral, but there was someone towering over me possibly eight foot tall is just staring at me. I have probably been standing for an hour now and whoever is next to me is still there and the phone vibrates alerting me of it's low battery
"When the phone dies so do you"
I begin to sniffle as the phone light dims at a pace, the thing next to me moves his arms parallel to mine and as it gets darker I see his arms in front of the one eye I have open...and then the light goes out.
