Kim Possible: Clueless
By LJ58
Ron Stoppable was falling.
For just a moment he seemed doomed, and then his hands scrabbled instinctively for his grapple even if his mind was still actually frozen.
KP.
Kim Possible.
His very best friend since forever had attacked him.
Then she left after she had sent him reeling head-over-heels over a cliff.
Actually leaving him to fall.
Oh, right. He was still technically falling, even if he had found his grapple.
Ron fired the grapple without looking down, and yelped as the suddenly inertia had him swinging to one side along the very sheer cliff. Then, he ungainly face-planted against the very hard, very unyielding rocky cliff face.
He groaned, knowing that was going to hurt tomorrow.
Heck, it hurt now!
Ron groaned, and wished again he understood just what the heck he was supposed to have done now.
Sometimes, he could guess. Still, there were times when KP made no sense at all to him. This, regrettably, was one of them.
Okay, sure, Drakken had gotten away. It wasn't like that was the first time. He just really felt it was wrong to use mystical monkey power for something as silly as beating up a guy like Dr. Drakken. Shego, maybe, but Kim always fought her. The one time he had tried to fight her usual rival, she had actually gotten mad at him.
Almost as mad as she was now.
Dangling from the grapple just then over a nearly 400 foot drop, Ron looked down. Then up. Then back down.
The Roth had definitely taken off, and it looked like KP wasn't coming back.
Sighing, he slid the ring he had caught on instinct into his pocket, and then carefully began to make his way down the nearly sheer cliff that was a lot easier to scale when in a flying car. He had the feeling that Kim wasn't coming back, though. Not just yet.
He was sure she would calm down, and realize he had been right, though.
After all, even she didn't use her battle-suit all the time. Not even with Shego. He was certain she would calm down, and come back for him once she realized he was being the reasonable one here, and had been quite logical.
After all, best friends, and all that.
It wasn't as if he had forgotten their anniver…
Ronald cringed inwardly even as he realized that yesterday was their anniversary, and he had completely forgotten all about it.
He grimaced, and considered that Kim might not be cooling down after all. Not anytime soon. Still, she had to calm down eventually. He was certain she would.
Meanwhile, he a long climb down, and a longer walk to the nearest town.
Maybe, he thought, he should bring her back something special. Maybe a naco platter?
That was it, he nodded to himself as he began the long descent. There was nothing like a hot naco to make everything better.
End…?
