Welcome all! This is the elusive Introverasaurus back with another story! I don't know how that happened. I usually never write, but, then again, summer brake does do something to the mind. Well, anywho, I hope you enjoy it, etc., ect., you know the drill.
ON WITH THE STORY!
It was such a peaceful day. The birds were singing, the sun was shining, the flowers were in full bloom, and the creative juices were flowing. Yes, it was a perfect day for science, but someone was being obstinate and picky and stubborn and whiny- You get the idea. Bruce was being... Bruce. Cautious, worrying, and all around disapproving of Tony's brilliant idea.
"Tony, no," Bruce said worriedly, fumbling with his long sleeves, a nervous habit he had acquired, and following the crazy genius to his lab.
"Tony, yes!" said crazy genius exclaimed with a wide, excited smile.
"You don't know what you're doing! You could unleash a whole new evil into this world!" Bruce tried as they got off the elevator.
"Relax Brucie," Tony said with a disregarding wave of his hand at the other scientist.
"The world is not ready for this! You don't know what could happen!" desperate, the scientist grabbed the genius' shirt sleeve to stop him from entering the lab.
"Bruce," Tony said, strangely serious, putting his hands on Bruce's shoulders, "The world has waited decades for this. I am not about to keep them waiting. Now are you with me? I mean, I am a genius, and a billionaire, and incredibly handsome, and- wait, where was I going with this? Ah yes! I can build it alone, but I was hoping you would be willing to help. Please? For the children?"
"Tony, you can't look at my straight and tell me that we are creating a Pokemon simulator for the children. You want this more than any other eight year old in the world. Though, in all honesty, you have the maturity of an eight year old. And save that kicked dog expression for when Pepper is around, it doesn't work on me."
"Wait! You said 'we!'" Tony shook off his big, sad eyes and pout and gave him a sly, smug smile. "So you are going to help!"
Looking at him with disdain and exhaustion, Bruce sighed, rubbed his eyes, and finally nodded his head, saying, "Fine. Fine, but, seriously, Hulkzar?"
Tony deflated a little and pouted at the disapproving look Bruce was sending him, mumbling, "And here I thought you would like it, but noooo. You have to be Mr. Disagreeable."
"You are not naming my Pokemon that!"
"Okay, hmm... how about Smashmon?"
"No."
"I got it! Hulkachu!" Tony said excitedly and then laughed, saying, "Can you picture it? Hulk-achoo! That would be hilarious!Wait, can the Big Guy sneeze? Hmm... that would be good to know. JARVIS, write that down on my 'Bonding Moments with the Big Guy' list."
"I'm terribly sorry, sir, but Ms. Potts seems to have deleted that list. Though the 'things I should probably not do, but do anyway' is still in operation. Would you like me to list it there?" said the floating, British voice of JARVIS.
"Nah, make a new one. Call it: 'Fun Facts Soon To-Be,'" Tony fluttered his fingers in an arch as he said this, smiling while just Bruce groaned.
"Tony," Bruce took a deep breath to calm his growing irritation.
"Yes, yes, onto business!" with that, Tony grabbed Bruce's wrist and pulled him into the lab faster than the other man could react, yelling, "TIME FOR SCIENCE!"
So there is the first chapter. There will be at least one more, I say at least because I just wrote this in thirty minutes and I don't know if I am ready to commit to a longer story yet. *sigh* I most likely will, but at most it will be five chapters. At most. So yeah, I hope you liked it and, if you feel the wont, please review, you will make my day that much brighter. If not then I understand. Really I do. No pressure.
