A/N:: I never like posting in the Humor section because I never feel my stuff is actually funny. This is just a useless little story that popped in my head.
FanFic 100 Challenge #:: 035- Sixth Sense
Minerva and the Seer
A small, unfamiliar knock sounded at Minerva's office door.
"Come in," she called, looking up from her papers.
Sybill Trelawney burst into the room, her magnified eyes wide with excitement. She outstretched an arm and scanned it in front of her, as if revealing an image.
"I had a vision!"
Minerva rolled her eyes and returned her attention to the papers upon her desk.
"Can't this wait? I'm quite busy as of right now..."
"No, no, no!" Trelawney shrieked. "You," she said, pointing at Minerva, "and the Headmaster... shall be married!"
Minerva's eyes narrowed as she looked up at Trelawney.
"I can see it!" Trelawney said in an ethereal tone, as if this surprised even herself.
"You are not seeing the future, Trelawney." Minerva stated definitely.
Hurt, Trelawney's mouth dropped open slightly. She had truly seen this, no matter how many visions she had previously fabricated.
"You are seeing the past," Minerva said, giving a quick, rare smile. "Albus and I have been married for fifteen years. Today is our anniversary."
"I knew it!" Trelawney repeatedly began to shout, jumping to her feet and exiting the room, perhaps to return to her sherry.
Minerva sighed audibly. Maybe that poor, delirious woman had some "Seeing" blood in her, after all.
THE END
